  1. Too many pages to read. I drift in here from time to time, about once every 6 months. Will a new album ever happen???
  2. Excellent! Barbie is such a funny movie! Margot Robbie and Ryan G. are excellent! ..and Slash is excellent!
  3. That's cool! I own just one L.A. Guns album, which features the excellent track 'One More Reason'. It's on vinyl. I was watching Joe Rogan Experience today, #2118 and he is chatting with The Black Keys. They chat about Manson, and they mention the G'N'R album "The Spaghetti Incident?" ..as it features a Manson cover. The Black Key's mention opening for G'N'R and how they never got to meet G'N'R. Joe Rogan mentions how he once met Axl Rose in a restaurant in Greece, and what a cool guy he is.. (starts around the 23:50 mark)
  4. the band’s first-ever A.I.-powered music video. A.I. ..really? I am so sick of seeing A.I. generated images. They're fun, but nothing else. I expect more from Guns'N'Roses Watching the video, i did wonder if Axl has an image issue, as he no longer looks like he did, back during the AFD, UYI days. ..or maybe the band are too lazy to make videos, and tell creators to 'create' and simply use live footage from concerts. When was the last time Guns'N'Roses released a good video? ..I can't recall any video's from CD? were there any? Since I Don't Have You just might have been the last decent G'N'R video
  5. Did anyone in the band give a thumbs up to the sleeve to Perhaps as it looks like someone's first attempt at adding text 'PERHAPS' to a photo using Photoshop and knowing nothing about how to change the font style or use the antialiased option. Were Geffen Records even involved? ..and whats with the side G and side R concept?
  6. The General Could almost be a Korn song. The vocals sound way too processed. To be honest, i am not sure what to make of The General. For sure it sounds far removed from the Appetite era. For me the Appetite reigns supreme
  7. Absurd. Not a track i like. It takes me back to NIN's track 'Burn'. NIN perform Burn live, and all the NIN high-end effort cannot save what is average by NIN standard. The song's punch line 'Burrrn...' fails. NIN have too many other great tracks to play live over Burn. For the record, i am not comparing Absurd to Burn. I am comparing the lack of that something when it comes to both tracks. If i had to pick one, i would pick Burn.
  8. CD II ..that was a thing? ..i never knew that. One song that no one seems to mention that got played live was Silkworms. I actually liked that track, as a Chinese D. era effort. Sure it wasn't very Guns'N'Roses, it worked well enough live.
  9. UYI 1 & 2 were made from leftovers plus a couple of cover songs to fill the track listing. What came next? ..a punk covers album made while the band were touring. What followed was a live album, and Greatest Hits album, nothing new. Based on what has been released since the released of C.D. it makes sense why those songs failed to make it onto the album, as they sound unfinished. Hard Skool, Absurd, Perhaps, The General all sound, lacking to me. Hard Skool is probably the most G'N'R sound track of the bunch. I have yet to hear Monsters.
  10. Through my letterbox today arrived the 7 inch vinyl PERHAPS which also contains on the B side THE GENERAL On the cellophane there is a small white sticker with the words MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC The image on the front and rear of the sleeve looks poor. It's lo-res pixelated amateur hour level. Who is in charge of passing this work? It's not G'N'R level. Hard Skool featured a way more interesting sleeve. Not perhaps, but without doubt, PERHAPS features the worst looking 7 inch sleeve art G'N'R have ever released.

  13. I cannot seem to find that track (Monsters) on YouTube?
  14. I am not sure how my threads there are here based on The General I happened to hear it for the 1st time on YouTube some moments ago. The live version i heard was titled: Guns N'Roses | The General (live @Hell and Heaven, Toluca. MX 11/05/2023) Slow sort of track. I know many on MyGnR have wanted to hear this track for a long long time ;D I hope you are happy now. I would like to hear a studio recorded version before i pass judgement. For the moment, i cannot seem to find Monsters. I am sure i will soon enough.
  15. Personally i am not a fan of 'Perhaps'. So far to_date i have avoided any leaks of The General. Fingers crossed, The General has more to offer than Perhaps
  16. Fact is, Chinese Democracy is NOT Gun'N'Roses.. it's represents Axl Rose during one of his most indulgent moments during his time creating music. Now that Slash and Duff are back, maybe now Axl can get back to being in Guns'N'Roses I really like the track 'This I Love'.. the Robin Finck guitar solo = Amazing! ..the track possibly amounts to Axl's no.1 self indulgent moments on Chinese Democracy
  17. Today i Goolged 'Guns Roses New Album' and hit the News button.. What i got was.. G'N'R to release 'Perhaps 7" Vinyl'. Cool! i thought.. Then i read 'The General' to feature on the B-Side. For years i have picked up on forum types wanting The General Today i discover it is nothing more than B-Side material. Feels kinda sad
  18. To be honest i don't think about Frank. I view Frank as a hired hand, a drummer, a good drummer who could be swapped out at any time. It might have something to do with the fact, on the odd occasion when i watch a video shot by a crowd member, they tend to point the camera at Axl and Slash, sometimes Duff. Frank doesn't appear to get much screen time. Given G'n'R's age.. could this be their final tour or second to last tour? ..if they were to end the tour and offer one final type of tour, it would be good to see Adler and Sorum back. Adler on Appetite tracks, Sorum on Illusion tracks and either Frank or Brain on chinese tracks..
  19. So they dropped the song and a video The watery/blurry/auto-tune fx applied to Axl's voice reminds me of Catcher in the Rye
  20. Has the song been released officially, or is it a work in progress leak that has been released? ..as i can't be doing with listening to leaks. I'd rather wait and be hit with the finished tracl
  21. A parcel arrived today. The bonus gift is the Hard Skool vinyl - Nightrain Limited-Edition Clear. The locker color on the sleeve is grey. From what i recall, the original single sleeve featured a red colored locker (..or am i thinking of the music video?) The XL t-shirt is looks excellent, made in India, not China, which makes a change. The baseball cap is what it is. I am not into wearing baseball caps. I'll check out the CD later - with some ice-cold beers The G'n'R metal pin badge looks decent enough - On the subject of the 6 track CD, i wonder why they chose to include two cover songs? (Live and Let Die, Knockin'On Heaven's Door). I'd rather they used six G'N'R songs ..i have never been a fan of the song Knockin'On Heaven's Door. Matt Sorum on drums.. i wonder if he earn's anything from the 6 track CD ?
  22. I am only interested in the left-overs if Buckethead and Finck's work stays in tact. I object to Slash having to possibly cover the work of Buckethead and Finck. Hard Skool is a prime example of a half finished song being released and sounding half finished. If Hard Skool is the best they have to offer from the Chinese era, then i hold out little hope for the rest of the Chinese era music being dusted off and released. I am pro Slash and Axl working on 100% new G'n'R material.. which i hear they have been doing.
  23. I like the t-shirt.. which also ships with: Guns N' Roses Nightrain Pin Surprise Nightrain Gift Guns N' Roses Nightrain Live CD Guns N' Roses Nightrain Trucker Cap Guns N' Roses Nightrain White Robot T-shirt I have no idea what the surprise gift is? ..i guess that's what makes it a surprise. I have a feeling it might be a sticker? ..what else could it be??? 24. I heard the news last week that a new G'n'R song was going to drop on Aug 11th titled 'Perhaps' ..and i totally believed it. Damn fool i am! ..i should have known better ;D I did watch the video with muffled audio titled: GUNS N' ROSES - PERHAPS 2023 LIVE [NEW SONG REHEARSAL] ..and was not sure what to make of it? ..assuming this is Chinese D. era stuff, i assume it means Duff and Slash are covering the work of the hired hands otherwise known as New G'n'R (Buckethead, Bumblefoot etc.)
