  1. I'm a Little Rock native and this was my third time seeing them, including in Minneapolis last weekend. Not to be a homer, but I have to say that this was above and beyond the best show of theirs that I've seen. Axl was on fire, into it, having fun, interacting with the crowd, smiling a lot, and overall had a much stronger voice compared to last weekend. Like the above sentiments, the band is getting tighter and more cohesive.

It was interesting because Tim McGraw and Faith Hill cancelled last nights show in Little Rock (verizion arena)  because she was "feeling ill"

I bet she makes tonight's show (8/4) in Nashville. LOL I wonder if ticket sales were bad for that show. Little Rock tough town for ticket sales.

Not necessarily so - at least this past year.

SIZIN' UP VERIZON: Pollstar recently released its midyear rankings of arena venues by ticket sales. North Little Rock's Verizon Arena came in 27th in the United States, beating bigger cities like Houston, St. Louis, Orlando and Boston and its 2016 midyear ranking (33rd). With other big shows scheduled, including Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Janet Jackson, Bruno Mars and Chris Stapleton, such figures are music to the arena's ears.

  4. I work nearby Verizon Arena and with people who are closely associated to the venue. They are keeping mum about it, but have stated the announcement is for a band that is no longer together. There will also be a banner on the bridge (not sure which, but my guess would be Junction because it's closer to the arena than Broadway Bridge) that's 18 feet by 125 feet.

Also, they are stating it's the biggest band/act to ever play at Verizon. With that in mind, the Stones, AC/DC, Springsteen, the Eagles, Metallica, and even Taylor Swift have played there so there's not much breathing room if anyone is to take them serious on that.

  5. most people dont even meet people after the show, slash is really good about that actually

especially when there are dozens of people

Well, I met Axl in 2010 with around 25 people and he CHATTED with us for 15-20 minutes. Slash is more like: "give me your stuff to autograph, no pictures and get the fuck outta here", which is bad.

To be fair, I met Slash after a gig in Dallas in 2004 and he spent time chatting with every single fan waiting in line to meet him, get autographs/pics, etc.

  6. Keep in mind that Hitler et al Nazis considered Madagascar as a possible re-location for the Jewish population of Europe and beyond.

It fits in pretty well with the lyrics of the song, especially with the references to bondage.

  7. I believe he was an insurgent back in the period of late antiquity and the bedouin is a tribal nomad in the Middle East during the same period of time and even prior.

You've voiced your opinion, now let it go. You're not going to change people's minds through your profanity and poor grammar skills.
