GNR & Aerosmith should do a co-headline tour. I’m not sure what’s the status of Aerosmith at this point though? Maybe have Uncle Ted Nugent as the opener, he’s always fun.
Woke Axl and Trumptard Ted on the same tour, a recipe for disaster.

I’ve been waiting so long for this, the Martin era albums are so difficult to find copies of, and they go for big money when they do pop up. Very excited to pick this up, but disappointed there really isn’t any new bonus material (The few bonus tracks included have all been released elsewhere, however obscure).
An article I was reading about the set quoted Tony Martin as saying nothing “new” (i.e. unreleased) can be released under the Black Sabbath name legally anymore, unless it’s the four original members. If that’s true, that’s very unfortunate for a band with as varied a history as Sabbath has.
I guess that was part of Ozzy's 2009 lawsuit against Iommi. Sharon no doubt had a bitchfit when Sabbath released those three new songs with Dio in 2007 on The Dio Years compilation.

Have never listened to Just Ken and don't plan on it.
5.Perhaps-Outside of the cool piano riff, just absolutely awful in every way. The chorus is one of the most embarrassing things I've ever heard. 1/10
4.Absurd-Shitty abrasive version of a mediocre electro punk song. 2/10
3.The General-Decent song drowned in shitty vocal effects, and a lame ass melody from Brain/Xtract 4.5/10
2.Hard Skool-Great chorus, bland instrumental and the echo effect on Axl's voice is hideous 5.5/10
1.Killing Floor-Not really my kind of music, but a fun listen nonetheless and executed very well. Slash's playing is very tasty. 7/10

I love the album, but wouldn't consider it on par with CD quality wise. Rod Jackson is a great songwriter with a unique voice. While I agree that 5 O Clock has better riffs, I will never understand people preferring Dover. Fucking awful singer.

I prefer Axl Rose the artist (1983-2010) to Axl Rose the traveling jukebox (2011-).

I disagree in the sense that I think 4 was great instrumentally, a very diverse and inspired set of songs from Slash. He just needs a real songwriter to collaborate with.

TIL has some of Axl's best melodies and a great hook, which is why it's always been the casuals favorite from CD. It's lyrics are very simplistic, but most songs popular with the general public are.

I LOL'd seeing all the complaints in Maiden Reddit about Bruce keeping the same vocals from the 10 year old Eternity demo. For obvious reasons.

Both Perhaps solos are mediocre. Both were also far more than such an atrocious song deserved.

I have to respectfully disagree. The guitar on Hard Skool for the Village leaks were a mess. The song was clearly not ready to be released. Slash and Duff cleaned up that mess.
And then they put an echo filter on Axl's voice which ass fucked the song.

The ways you all talk about Axl on here is just fucked up. Personally. I don’t care what she says he did If he Denys it then I fully believe him. You’re supposed to be his fans Have his back throw this scag that the sharks. It doesn’t matter if he’s wrong or rite defend him anyways.
You sound like a Trump cultist. Didn't realize Axl had his own Qanon.

I'm just curious about the vocal section after the chorus and before the solo that was axed from the final version.

well i see the above Fernando's comment in a new light. Seeing how Benzova sues for not getting enough credit, I understand how Fernando might see it fin to pinpoint she ain't the first to credit to other people either.
Except Fernando's 8 year old comment was not in response to Kat's lawsuit.

Don't care for it at all, trite lyrics and bland melodies. Only really liked the second album. Stapp is probably the best singer and songwriter from the post grunge genre (incredibly low bar, I know) and I thought The Madness was more consistent than any Creed album. Don't recall the Weiland album that much, might go back and listen again at some point.

If The World is a fantastic song. Some of Axl's best melodies and amazing vocals. It's haters can never come up with anything really substantive to say about why it supposedly sucks so much, just general statements about it sounding like James Bond or a porn soundtrack. In particular this is one of the few CD songs I would have really liked to hear Slash play, since I think the Latinesque guitars would really suit his style. But Axl couldn't come close to singing it these days.
Scraped is a song that people seem to latch on to one part of it that they hate (In this case the intro) and then say the entire thing sucks. It has cool riffs, cool lyrics besides the cringe "don't you try and stop us now", and a great groove.
The General is a decent song but it's drenched in Marilyn Manson type effects that don't fit Axl's voice, and the melody Brain/Xtract came up with is cheesy and detracts from the serious nature of the lyrics.

My ranking:
Monsters-Great song through and through. Prefer the solo in the cell clip to Slash's bluesy take
Hard Skool-Great song, final version suffers from horrid echo effect on the vocals, but has superior guitar work to the demo.
The General-Good song ruined by too many effects and a weak melody from Brain/Xtract
Absurd-Shit song. Abrasive riffing contrasts poorly with the punk vocals, Silkworms was much better
Perhaps-Outside of the main piano melody, this song is just pure vomit. Worst song from the CD era. Fucking awful in every respect. Demo is more listenable but both versions are awful

What’s the next big unheard song everyone wants now, anyways? Seven?
Amen, assuming Axl sings it. Considering the subject matter it sounds like the lyrics might be trite, but Duff is good with vocal melodies.

I dont understand how a Gunner cant like this song, it is beautiful. Never a dull moment with this band when they do something.
It's a great song buried behind shitty effects and a cheesy instrumental.

I believe that song has the same chances of being on a new album as Argentina from Bumblefoot had.
I disagree because Argentina was an instrumental when BBF presented it, meaning Axl would have to both write and record for it. With Amen Axl can just sing it. I'm sure he'll love any excuse to avoid songwriting.
Unless you're simply saying you doubt a new album will happen in general, in which case I agree completely.

I'm not really hearing it be talked about anywhere, probably because of The General video release but what stands out is he named the track. I can't really think about when he has done that before, back in 95/96 he would mention in random interviews with hitparader ect that they were working on songs but said he wouldn't name them.
Given that the 'Peace would last forever' line came from him in Civil war and him naming the song here & calling it a sequel it would suggest he has some serious belief in the song. I hope a version leaks someday doubt it will be released but I can hope i guess
Where did Duff mention this Amen track?
