Music video directors don't exist anymore nor do record labels have the money to invest in a product that doesn't give them a financial return.

The band have released a music video that fits in with the current state of today's music industry, including the cost factor and holding the copyrights to their own  content. 

Some of you seem to think this music video was released to make some money. 

The music industry doesn't make any money anymore, hence a less cost effective alternative.. 

Thats why many artists release animation/lyric based music videos or are remastering previously released albums.

Don't Damn Me is one of my favourites. Really wish Axl would sing it, it's mostly lower register as well so he would smash it.

Slash's blues based guitar solos/riffs which make his guitar speak and really complement Axl's voice. Tone/style instantly identifiable as GUNS.

Integrity of the band - do and say what they feel

Songs based in reality with real meaning behind them - authenticity 

Originality - stage outfits, 9 minute epic songs, epic music videos, combination of punk and hard rock. 

Energy/power - The songs, the concerts, always make you feel alive/involved

Apply to current band and conclude accordingly 

Nice Boys - Saskatoon 1993. That’s one of the best live performances of any song ever I think in terms of vocals. Axl just completely rips through it. Insane power. 

It was great to hear Axl sing a load of different songs and sing them very well. Just wish we had a proper official release CD of one of the concerts

“Not distorted meaning” is hilarious considering the distortion effect on the vocals is obscuring the lyrics a bit 😂

I want them to write new music from scratch. Preferably lots of blues based hard rock. Release an album of mostly back to roots tracks. New Slash riffs. New Axl lyrics and vocals. Lots of signature rasp. A few piano tracks like illusions, release a killer 14 track album. Do a last mega music video. Release something to coincide with a big movie. Pure fan service stuff. I’d love it.
