  1. He’s less than 5 months from this accomplishment. Extend the tour!! … “Qualifying resident” or “senior citizen” means a person 62 years of age or older, or 55 years of age or older in a senior citizen housing development California Code, Civil Code - CIV § 51.11 - Codes - FindLaw
  2. Does he say anything noteworthy? Site is trying to get me to subscribe to read.
  3. Ha well actually at least 3. Field of Dreams and Bull Durham as well.
  4. Good review. Costner film is For Love of the Game.
  5. This tour is over in 2 months and that’s it until at least 2025 probably.
  6. Yes, it is the band’s fault (Axl’s) that they finally reunited over 7 years ago and still haven’t sat down together to write any new material. If they’re not going to do that then call it quits. Nearing a decade of half assing it is enough time to rake in the cash .
  7. I doubt they’re going to wrap it all up at the Hell and Heaven Fest in Mexico. They would do a farewell marketing tour. 💰 💰
  8. I remember back in the day the GNR part of this forum was pretty dead, but Anything Goes, My World, etc was quite happening. Not so much anymore.
  9. Is that writing a translation? Sounds like a bot or something. Could be correct about the long break though. Hopefully they don’t come back until they have an album of new songs to release.
  10. I’d go with The Blues Rock In Rio 2001, KOHD Rock Am Ring 2006 and Nightrain Rock Am Ring 2006.
  11. Sports mascots I believe. Toronto Raptors, Blue Jays and maybe Argonauts?
  12. If it would’ve came down to it, I don’t think Axl would’ve got fresh with Slash or Duff. Too much history. He might’ve tried with Matt but Sorum was considerably bigger and would’ve put him in his place imo. I’m not a big fan of physical shit in general but it’s probably exactly what Axl needed. 🤷‍♂️
  13. I mean that’s not surprising, but I’ll always have a little soft spot for Matt in the band even though he can act like he’s more important than he is. I just watched a recent TWAT and Prostitute with Axl and Slash. A lot of time was wasted, but when it comes down to real…those 2 interacting is GNR imo. They’re dual lead performers and they were in one of the best/coolest rock n roll bands ever. Sucks so much time was wasted but I hope we get a new album of them collaborating in real time. That’s all I want before it’s over. 3:12 in this video puts a smile on my face:
  14. Speaking of Slash guitars: https://www.guitarworld.com/news/slash-first-guns-n-roses-les-paul-hunter-burst-auction “This is the one that got him hooked”: Slash’s first Guns N’ Roses Les Paul – the ‘Hunter Burst’ – is going to auction
  15. Haha, good God! I had forgotten about that Axl press release regarding Buckethead’s abrupt departure and them cancelling Rock in Rio. Must’ve been a real kick in the teeth for him as Velvet Revolver were just 2 months away from releasing Contraband. The VH1 Behind the Music (which I love) also came out 3 months later. When it rains, it pours.
  16. Well there’s only approximately 5,200 actual seats that aren’t way back on the lawn.
  17. People should be able to get some good videos from that balcony area.
  18. I would contend that the vast majority of people that end up at a GNR concert know more than just 4 songs. If they’re at the concert they probably listened to rock stations in the last 30 years and at minimum they would know the following: It’s So Easy, Mr Brownstone, SCOM, Paradise City and maybe even Nightrain and/or Rocket Queen. They would also know Patience for sure. Then they would absolutely know November Rain, Knocking on Heaven’s Door and probably Don’t Cry, Civil War and You Could Be Mine as well. I’d say the typical concert goers would know at least 9-10 songs.
