Looking at the pics & Meegan’s insta looks another packed show. The amount of fans at hotels and airports seems really substantial this tour as well. Given the lack of any activity or promotion the band are still doing very well. I read the Glasto effect led to a huge increase on Greatest Hits sales and Sweet Child is in the top 40. Every tour people on here say it won’t sell well…🤣

Well HardSkool, the far more commercial song, came at the end of a tour which made no sense. They took the time to go to a studio to listen to mixes. Surely it/they are coming…

Hilarious that Lana Del Ray was late and got her set pulled 🤣 Did she say something negative about GN’R? I thought she was a fan. It was on a night out with Axl he said “not in this lifetime” wasn’t it?

The press love bashing Axl. I can’t imagine them treating Brian Johnson with such disdain. The comments about his appearance are pretty low. He’s 61 and in such great shape and more importantly seems very happy. I was proud of the band I love. The energy they brought was incredible.

I saw Tommy in 2015 with The Replacements so he was able to tour duty them. I seem to remember he dipped out of a South America tour and Duff covered. He also missed the awards do where Axl got an award and a night in Vegas. I’d always assumed in 2014 Axl had made his mind up to reunite with Slash..this would indicate not. Seems Tommy needing Duff to cover was the catalyst. All came together pretty quick.

I mentioned in the “new album” thread about whether the old members were perhaps involved in the delay of the reworked singles.. Can’t help but think him being in contact with Duff and a seeming reluctance to discuss Hardskool & absurd back my theory up.

Think that was with me. It all felt very retro..was like 2010. 🤣

I think if they don’t use Glastonbury to release something and create some buzz then they won’t release it.

So Slash said last year that 2 new (reworked) singles would be released. Now that didn’t happen..and I’m not hopeful it will this year. Was thinking do you think some old members who worked on Chinese put in a claim for royalties/credits on that material and that’s delayed/stopped its release?
