I discovered the GGD back in 1991, thanks to the "Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare" soundtrack, and "I'm Awake Now" is still one of my GGD favourites. I like all their albums, but the ones from the 90s are the best. I like Gutterflower too, but I was a little dissapointed with Let Love In. Hope they put a little more R&R in their next cd.

As most of you know we've really been pushing Trent Reznor's Nine Inch Nails album "Year Zero", and what's so cool is his viral marketing campaign for the album and his attitude towards the record labels. Now that the album has had a few weeks to digest, Reznor has been very outspoken about how unhappy he is with his record label - but today he dropped the bomb, one that will change the music world forever. "I've have one record left that I owe a major label, then I will never be seen in a situation like this again," Reznor tells The Herald Sun, "If I could do what I want right now, I would put out my next album, you could download it from my site at as high a bit-rate as you want, pay $4 through PayPal."
But what if you want more? Some people like the packaging... he has it all planned out, "Come see the show and buy a T-shirt if you like it. I would put out a nicely packaged merchandise piece, if you want to own a physical thing." But here's the bomb, the atomic bomb if you will... The future is here, the future is now and Trent Reznor is finally someone willing to do something about it. Think about it, if he sells 200,000 albums the DAY he drops the CD on PayPal, he'd make nearly a million bucks in one night. How many other artists will follow suit... the record labels should be afraid, very afraid.
Talk don't mean sh-t if you don't do something about it. Come on Trent, don't make promises like our little South Park friends who did nothing about the MPAA. CHANGE the future!

The site of the Spanish alternative shop (clothes, music, etc.) 'TIPO' have announced Guns N'Roses will be in Spain (in Caceres exactly) again next 7th of April.
You can see it here.
Now... if it's true (and I have no reason to think it's not true, since Tipo.es is a serious and 'trustable' site when they announce dates), I guess it means Guns N'Roses will come back to Europe as a part of the Chinese Democracy Tour, so... good news!!

I've lived in Caceres for years! My family's home is at 15 minutes from the venue!
Seriously, i don't think GN'R will play there, it's almost surreal. The last (and the only?) big band that played in Caceres was Dire Straits, back in 1992...
Well... I live in Santander, and we never had a 'big band' or artist here; this year we had Bruce Springsteen, Scorpions and will have Bon Jovi next year... more than in 150 years!!
. Keep the faith .Well, at least Santander has a population of almost 200.000. Cáceres is under 100.000. The funny thing is that beside the venue is where people use to drink the 'botellón'... the crowd will be really wild!

I'm not very impressed by the video, but I like the song a lot. Althought it sounds more like a Bruce Dickinson solo song than Maiden's, IMO. By the way, a solid single.

I was in Madrid and I don't think it was a bad show, in fact it was an amazing concert IMO, but if this gig in El Ejido has been better.. wow!

Os encuentro muy duros!
A los de gradas nos habeis tratados de pijos, de fans de pacotillas y no se que mas, por fa, hay otros motivos por los que coger de gradas.
Cogi de gradas porque voy sola y pedi que fuera bien situado.
Tambien tengo que decir que cuando estas abajo, pues, lo siento te toca oler sobaquillos

y otros tipo especia de idiota integral :xmassrudolph: que baila sobre tus putos pies en lugar del suelo, por lo que yo ya he paso la edad. (volvi de un concierto de Aerosmith mas azul que el mediteraneo por haber querido estar abajo, cerca del escenario) Soy una vieja, soy fan de toda la vida y SI disfrutaré igual que vosotros desde las gradas porque no me imagino un concierto de GNR donde el publico solo se sienta y escucha.
Creo que de sentados tendremos poco, para ser honesta pero en plena seguridad!
Asi que os encuentro muy duros, respectad por favor tambien a los viejos!
No no, yo al menos no me estoy metiendo con la gente que va a las gradas, más que nada porque yo TAMBIÉN las he pillado de grada
. Cada uno puede ver el concierto donde más le apetezca, faltaría más. Yo en mi caso las he cogido ahí porque mi novia no es muy alta y no creo que viese un pijo desde abajo, pero vamos, sino fuese por ella lo mismo las hubiese pillado igual de grada, porque hay que reconocer que desde ahí se ve de coña y no aguantas a las niñas que se suben a la espalda del novio y te joden la visión o al pavo de dos metros que se te planta delante y además bota... en fín, para gustos... Aqui más bien nos estamos metiendo con los fans casuales que agotan las entradas en un plis-plas, sin siquiera estar al tanto de la nueva formación y que no les duele pagar más de 40 euros para ir a escuchar Sweet Child O'Mine... -

Respecto al concierto, pues bueno, a ver qué pasa... Lo digo porque yo también tuve una entrada para cierto concierto con QOTSA de teloneros hace cosa de cinco años... En cualquier caso tengo claro que si Axl cancela la gira supondrá una decepción bastante irreparable.
Pero bueno, optimismo.
Calla calla... no nos digas esas cosas que da mal fario!
Jeje... a mi me pasó lo mismo pero con el Rock in Rio del 2004, ya lo tenía todo listo (entradas, hotel...) y hale, el buckethead se las pira y se jode el invento, vaya cabreo que me pillé...
De todas formas me da que este año es el bueno, esperemos!

I have the spanish versión of iTunes, so don't know if the translation is very accurate, but this is the way.

Sí, te entiendo, se creen que porque han oido dos canciones ya son "diehards", y a veces da asco oirlos hablar. Aunque también hay algunos que son muy enrollaos y les gustan los guns de verdad aunque los conozcan de dos dias.
Lo más cachondo será escuchar a más de uno (seguro) preguntando ¿pero dónde está slash? ¿Quienes son esos tíos?
