  1. Guys, they didn’t accidentally leave in Finck’s bend. Just like there wasn’t an accidental timing error on “Absurd.” These are stylistic choices whether we like them or not
  2. Goddamn it, I was out of likes for the day. This was hilarious and relatable as fuck. I walked across the street to a pizza place to listen. Haha! They asked me what I’d like to order when I walked through the door, and I said, “Perhaps” by Guns N’ Roses. They looked at me wondering if I was an idiot. When I explained to them that the song released early, but only on Touchtunes, and that it leaked in its original form four years ago, I confirmed to them that I was indeed an idiot. I asked for a tall glass of water and apologized ahead of time for playing it three times in a row.
  3. This is a track we heard in demo form in 2019 with the locker leaks. However, it appears to have different vocals. And this version has drums and bass high in mix. Hard to really make out how different it is based on cell phone recordings from bars.
  4. Unfortunately yes. It’s so low effort. Like someone created it on their Packard Bell in 1995.
  5. Idk. To me it sounds like someone about to start a solo and then gets interrupted by a different solo. Haha Maybe that’s Fortus on there now though. We’ll never know. And that second guitarist might be low in the mix during Slash’s solo? Can’t wait to listen to this on headphones.
  6. I liked the “save me” part of the demo too, but that chorus with “shackler” style deep voice fucks so hard. There’s a pizza joint across the street with a jukebox. I’m tempted to go over and listen to this song 10 times in a row. 😂
  7. I like Finck’s solo. I also like Slash’s solo. They’re both good. I too don’t understand leaving in the bend. I’m hoping it sounds cleaner or more cohesive on the non-cell phone recordings. Curious to see what people who never listened to the locker leak would think of that part of the song.
  8. lol I love the complaints about the solo. Studio version slaps. Solo included. It’s distinctively Slash. And it’s short and sweet, like the song in general.
  9. This band ruins everything. Unfortunate the first time we hear the studio version is through a cell phone recording of it playing on a jukebox. Yes, I realize I could have waited to hear it. But no, that clearly wasn’t gonna happen.
  10. No PTU. No Perhaps. Time went by and it became a joke.
  11. I’m counting on you guys to let me know if “Perhaps” is actually played tonight (it won’t be).
  12. To me, the funniest part in all this is that there is zero reason to delay the release. This band will do the bare minimum in regard to promotion just like for “Absurd” and “Hard Skool.” They won’t discuss it. They won’t do interviews. They will post it once on their socials. Then move on. With a normal band, a delay would likely mean there was some holdup in the planned promotion.
  13. It's August 11 in New Zealand, correct? So we would know if "Perhaps" was released. Perhaps there has been a change of plans. Perhaps we will never hear the studio version.
  14. Tomorrow will come and go and there will be no new GNR music on Spotify. Sad, this band. Pathetic, really.
  15. I wish Carrie was support in Chicago. I’d much rather see her than Pretenders. Plus her set list the other night was pretty awesome. Lot of r&r covers.
  16. Yeah, that must be it! I am mixing up the actual day they debuted “Absurd” with the time they played it and announced it would be on streaming platforms that night.
  17. Man, you’re right. My apologies. Why am I misremembering this? Was it “hard skool” that came out same night or I imagined this entire scenario in my head?
