I'm super late to the party on this one, but I only just heard this track and I absolutely love it. It's very CD, in all the right ways. I feel like Scraped or Rhiad definitely could have been bumped for a kickass, polished version of Hard School. It's promising that it seems to have been listed as an alt on past setlists, though so were many tracks, including Going Down, that we never heard live.

CDII will go down as the album that never was, but would have been amazing.

Phoenix is similar. Apart from the Pits, you can get tickets almost anywhere you want. I could see them doing a fire sale for this show.

The fact is that people have realised that if they mention GNR reunion they will end up with a nice media interview. Don is only mentioning it to pimp the hard rock, which he does later in the article... Same as Craig Duswalt, he has no inside knowledge, he's just plugging his book and it's a good thing to say to gather interest.

I always liked Robin, it's a shame he left and I would welcome him back any time.
