Nonwithstanding the quality of the track itself, it's such a pity that Axl's "statement" when he chose a very light mastering touch for Chinese Democracy has consistently been followed by badly mixed and most of all compressed and brickwalled releases. On that front, The General has reached a new low.

Great band. And their cover of Chain of Fools is fantastic, I don't know why the Louder guys play the rockier-than-thou and criticize it for being the (fairly) successful single.

I also hope the mastering keeps the same philosophy as Perhaps (even better, as Chi Dem) and does not go back to stupid levels of compression like the previous two songs.
