It's not so surprising, really, if you think of it as GN'R + AC/DC. Even just a portion of the fan bases of the two bands (especially AC/DC - I can imagine how many AC/DC fans would be interested in new studio vocals from Brian) would be enough to generate these views. Plus, it's good, so many of the people who checked it out have probably watched it a few times.
Not to mention Aerosmith fans too!

I'm actually going to pass, for now. The show in Toronto lands in the middle of a long weeknd. Will grab tix last minute if I'm around (and they are reasonable)
Edit- the show is the weekend prior to the long weekend. Decisions....

You guys (previous page) are getting riled up over nothing IMO. There’s nothing that new or distinguishable that we haven’t heard before in dozens of slightly different versions. Those Duff’s words can mean anything from a single in a couple of months to another silence at least for the time until a new tour is happening. After all, Slash promised a summer single at one point, only for it to arrive with a year’s delay.
No reason to get hysterical about this. Yet another "we’ll see, working hard, plenty of material, we all wanna do it, soon is the word..." etc., read my signature.
It would be actually quite unprecedented for them to just release a single without a supporting tour (and we know no tour is happening this year, right?). Unless it’s something difficult to sing, so Axl could avoid it like that. But then, he knows people would still expect to hear it live once the machine gets on the road again, so... Idk. Again, anything is possible.
But for now, I take it as another day, another "promise". Nothing to write home about.I wouldn't be shocked if they hit the road in November.

Also plays guitar on Look at Your Game, Girl and TWAT. I think the acoustic on TWAT is Axl? Not sure.
Dead Horse too?

TWAT or Locomotive. It's wild how many people are saying TIL.

I hope there will be a 2nd single before the album drops in May.
Oh man, I thought the album was dropping later this month.... I completely misread that lol

Track 12, Metal chestnut has Axl on it. Fucking finally something else besides Chinese leftovers
Nothing to suggest that the piano arrangement is new and not from 1999

This is now Sold Out on GNR website. I wonder if they will have a special edition for the 2024 NT membership package? Any day now....

Nothing special or personal. Slash asked him to lay down some vocals for Watch This. White offered him to play guitar instead because he preferred to sing only his own songs, or on his own records, or something like this. So they ended up not collaborating and Slash sent the demo to Dave Grohl who then played drums.
Watch This Dave (what it's mis-labelled as in Canada) is a great track! I'm glad it doesn't have vocals.

JW refused to sing for Slash’s first record. I doubt he got asked a second time.
I wasn't aware. Is there a backstory? I remember Axl attended one of JWs shows back around 2012 or so.

Surprised Jimmy Vivino doesn't make an appearance.
Jack White could have been a great choice too!

I like the vibe of this! And love Steven Tyler's "yeeaah" screams in the middle of the harmonica. Why can't GNR make simple yet enjoyable music videos like this...?
Daddy don't?

I believe it was one unique item per cart, at least after the signed ones were sold out.

I really appreciate Miles for everything. He was one of my favorites through WoF. I think Slash just got comfortable and enjoys working with SMKC and I can’t fault him for that.
I would love an all new band to shake things up for a blues tour
Agreed, his voice is just not my cup of tea. I don't mind it in small doses though. I think it'll just be added dated for their current tour.

RS article mentioned that Slash will announce a world tour next week in support of the album. I really hope it's not more Myles....

Guess it depends where you are. Still a good deal
I edited my post as shipping went up. Good deal you scored! I might grab it from Amazon.com instead ($40 shipped, doesn't mention it being signed)

$40 shipped for a signed double vinyl- hell yeah I ordered!
It was $26.50 shipping (so $56.48 USD total) when I looked up.

I like it even more on the 2nd listen. Great video as well!
Do you guys think the signed versions, as opposed to Amazon com, will be real (each unique) or templated stamp? I'll go with Amazon if it's the latter (cheaper shipping to Canada)
