I could see this happening a few years down the line. GNR can sell enough tickets on their own to not have to do it, but give it time.....

I'd hate for this to happen because it would mean a reduced "greatest hits" show, granted GNR is probably not capable of continuing their 2 hour 45 minute shows in the future given their age, but a co-headline bill would assure their shows would be 2 hours tops and anything rare or "b-side" would surely get dropped

  2. 1989 or so, familiar with songs like Welcome to the Jungle, Patience, SCOM and they were just cooler and sounded better than the other hair metal bands MTV was playing, got my first GNR album in summer camp as someone threw a Appetite cassette tape away as they thought it was dysfunctional as their cassette player ate their tape as they sometimes did, picked it up wheeled the tape back in and it worked fine, instantly got hooked on Appetite and they were my new favorite band.

I think Axl generally tends to sound better on night 2 than 1 when performing back to back dates.

I think artists in general sound better on the 2nd night of back to backs because I get the feeling they  hold back a little on the first night as to ensure they have enough in the tank for the 2nd night, and the 2nd night they can be free from any worries

So empty up front for Alice? People have no idea what they're missing out on, one of the greatest bands ever.

Frank was hanging in the back of the pit, the pit had a solid amount of people there to see Alice, alot more than the 2 previous shows I went to where the Pretenders were opening, though those shows were during the week and maybe that had an influence

  5. I still can't imagine them coming back to St Louis and doing a 1 off at that Stadium, I don't think these shows are the huge money makers they had hoped for with all the reduced ticket prices so I am not sure it is in their financial interest to have them schlep back to St Louis and all the extra costs involved to play for a minimal paycheck, not to mention late October/November where it will likely be cold out by showtime and there will probably be alot of refund requests.
