I own Chinese Democracy, and i never play it. The album is weird. There's no vibe. It's lumpy. It's sections. It's built like Lego. When i did play the album, i'd fast forward to the small, all too few moments, like a guitar solo, and like little sections. It's lacking, the whole album lacks something. It lacks Guns N'Roses ;P

Whether you like it or not, whether you accept it or not, Axl own the name "Guns n Roses." DJ Ashba is in the band "Guns n Roses." Therefore he has every right to promote GnR music on his website on a page that's labeled "/gnr/music" in the URL.

Dj Ash is paid to perform GN'R music. He has yet to release anything official (audio wise) under the GN'R banner.

Not their best, but up there with the best of GN'R. Better than anything on CD, that's for sure.

Axl is probably old school, and probably liked it when there was more mystery around, when the only form of press was paper magazines, and the only fan feed back came in the form of the odd letter here and there printed in a magazine. With the internet anyone and everyone has their say, there's no control, and it's instant. That lack of control must eat away at some people.

Just look at this pic of Bruce Springsteen and tell me Axl is "looking great" or "better than ever".

It's a known issue, no big secret, maybe they should cover themselves and print on every ticker, band will take to stage from 7 o'clock onwards (when Axl's ready to do so, when he rolls a red etc or Yoda gives the thumbs up or or Dijon eats a whole tin of food or the moon aligns with whatever takes Axl's fancy)

To fill the unknown void, and avoid boredom, *additional entertaining will be provided.

*Additional entertainment could come various forms. Other bands, they could play video's on the screen at the back of the stage. Maybe short live links to the hired hands all waiting in the backroom showing Pittman boozing etc (Ron would love that) - Stuff like this..

And it's all an illusion I guess....since Axl has said numerous times before that during the UYI tour he had no fun with the band and lots of problems going on, and said he's had a lot more fun during the new lineups era. Who would've have guessed it?

When I got to see a gig from the UYI tour, Axl was on form, as were the whole band. Ronnie Wood showed up on stage too, apparently he was in the audience. Axl seemed to having a good time. It was a good night. No booing, no stuff being thrown on stage. Just people passing out dues to the huge crowd.

I don't give a fuck about the autobiography of fucking Sebastian Bach. The only ones I'll read are Axl's and Izzy's, and the day either of them release an official autobio is the day volcano posts a 5 page letter on the Slash subforum confessing love of Slash and Myles.
