Nope. At the end of the day, i don't really care who is managing the band, or who all the people are who are hanger-ons to the GnR money train. In a perfect world, we wouldn't even know the name of all those people.
The music is the most important thing.
I'll buy and listen to anything Axl releases.
Axl loves you

Shouldn't this be in the Slash section ?
I've read a few interviews over the past 10yrs and he's had a few choice words about his time with the band and Axl but I couldn't find them on the internet, It was mostly from Rocksound, Metalhammer or classic rock... I'm sure it's archived somewhere. I know Axl didn't like slash's book.
he probably didn't like this either
That person really looks like Duff!
Got to admit, that is one funny picture

Gahhhh! I hope it's not another bloody tour.
probably. Axl wants more cash. Do the fans want more Axl ?

What does he say at 00:28?
"I think '(who?) is really cool, I talked to him yesteday"
"But yeah, I think its really cool. I talked to them (Fergie and her husband) yesterday."
I'm seeing the video right now for the first time, and as usual an unbelievably cool answer from Slash. He always sees right where they're going and just responds very nonchalantly. Doesn't try to get a dig in there, he's just always sort of "why do you care?" or "its really not a big deal." Thats why he's beloved from the original lineup. He sees the bait but 1. doesn't see any positive from badmouthing people, and 2. doesn't harbor those feelings anymore so these people are looking for something that isn't there, and Slash too finds that hilarious.
If the roles are reversed, someone asks Axl about a Slash named baby. What do you think he would say?
Axl would be the baby and either say no comment, ignore it, or bite/hit the reporter. Sorry, but Slash is just more friendly when it comes to trivial things like this. He has a better sense of humor, whereas Axl takes it as this ridiculous dig.
For sure Axl would act a whole lot more bothered. Thus a fight might break out

Former front man? Well done again yahoo great reporting!
Further proof, that to the general public, GN'R has not existed for 20 years.
It is kind of surprising how many people think Slash is still in the band.
I guess every time Guns N'Roses are played on the Radio, Slash is performing on that song. Pretty much.
Calling Axl a "former front man" while using a recent photo of him playing a GNR show. Yep. THAT'S quality journalism!
I guess it goes to show just how in the past GN'R are viewed. I spotted a Jame's Bond Lotus on Ebay, and the seller called the car a lamborghini diablo ?

I'm not trolling in anyway,
I'm really not. I mean every word I say sincerely.
-
Given how stuffed Axl's voice is these days. When it comes to the live shows, I hear more Guns N'Roses when Slash performs live. When new GN'R perform, they are total cover band. I'm not trolling in anyway, that's how new GN'R sound. I would prefer it if Axl dropped performing all the classic material, and stuck to Chinese D music, cover songs, and new material. Really.

I bet Slash is so bored with people asking about Axl. Slash don't need Axl. Their relationship is history.

Thank god for widescreen lolIf we were to put every member ever in GNR, and yes that includes employees, additional musicians, Beta and Fernando...
How many people would be on the banner. Over 20?
22 official members, which don't even include Traci and Roberta, Teddy, Anne, Cici, Lisa, etc.
And because I am bored at work, here is a banner showing the age/style progressions of Axl and Buckethead:
That got me thinking. I can only guess Buckethead likes to watch himself perform, but dosn't like the way his real face looks. Issues.
Edit: Not sure what size it needs to be, but I can resize it
Haha..
Would make for a good album cover, should another Greatest Hits album show up containing songs from all members. It might make more sense if Buckethead's hand was operating his muppet

New GN'R can't compare to:
-
Just found this. Buckethead appears to add FX. The chorus sounds, er, well, pathetic live.. you decide:
-
..are these lyrics correct ?
'shuffle' i always thought it was 'shark pool'
also I think it should be 'cause nobody wanted to know'
-
KFC was just wrong for gnr. I hope axl can find a guitarist who wears a Pizza Hut box on his head.
Buckethead appears to have kept the bucket and dropped the KFC. Maybe he has grown too big, and recieved a letter from KFC, or something - like - that . . .

This song kicks ass, and Josh Freese tears it up! Show OMG the love.
+1
It's better than anything on CD
It would have fitted well on an album with Silkworms. Maybe Axl could do an Axl & Pittman album. Pittman music with Axl on vocals. I would like that more than pretending to be Guns N'Roses.

Thought it was "what'd I tell ya!" also.
Same here
He does say that, but he also says "That's one more failure" sometimes.
He says both on album version ("what I'd tell you", followed by "that's one more failure", ending with "inside of me").
Got to admit, I kinda liked this song where it was first performed at Rio with Buckethead (or was it Robin) doing the guitar work. The piano sounded great, the best part of the song. Then the album showed up, they had re named the song ?, re arranged it a little, and added more needless layers, and the out of place 'inside of me' really kills it.
I don't like this boring song not on CD or live so i don't care
it's not as boring as Sorry. Now that drags on for about 3 minutes too many. The lastime i played CD was over a year ago now. Will I ever play it again. Sometimes I think about it, just for the This I Love Robin Fink solo. I love Robin's solo, but to get to it requires a whole load of skipping. guess I could always rip it to PC

I own a ton of Buckethead albums. I don't own a single Bumble-foot album. I like Slash more than both of them.
-
Dead Horse - all water under bridge, pretty much along with the band name GN'R..
-
I think Buckethead got a buzz appearing in front of so many at *that* Rio gig. He even posted YouTube links on his website, all be it links to his solo section's. At the same time, I got the impression maybe he felt he was on a leash, and was probably frustrated at the slow pace Axl works at, and the total lack of output at that time. Yes, Buckethead was right to quit. What did Axl do - bitch about it. What did Buckethead do - say nothing, and release a ton of music.
-
1. Slash
2. Axl
3. Izzy
4. Adler
5. Duff
GUNS N'ROSES
..the rest are all imitators
-
The Rio gig with Buckethead and Robin. The only good thing since Slash era GN'R. It's been downhill since then.
..the *Kevin Skwerl leaks all* moment was kind cool
-
If Axl were to perform a Slash-Diss song live along side a bunch of guy's he pays to cover Slash guitar work, it would make Axl look pretty dumb. The Axl live gig's rely heavily on GN'R's back catalogue (the hits).
-
I did used to like Prince, at least his older material, and own about 4 albums including a best of *Dirty Mind* *Purple Rain* *Sign 'O' The Times* *The Very Best of Prince*. I tried playing one of those albums some months ago, and the whole sound seems weak.

I expect the GNR people to try and get AFD out by the end of the year...
Jesus. Are these people capable of doing anything that isn't a "re-hash"?
Appetite for Destruction - a re-release ?
Does anyone else not give any shits about a DVD release?
I whole live show of the current line up does not excite. I wouldn't buy it.
A Dvd of various tracks performed live since Chinese Democracy was released including tracks feat. Buckethead and Robin pro shot, now that would be more interesting.
Bumblefoot cancels tour due to "Scheduling Conflict"

I thought it was a fact, bands make more from touring than they do releasing new music. The Rolling Stones make million's from each tour.
