I hate to say it, but I think it was a once in a life time reunion. Hope I'm wrong.
not a chance of it being a once off. the rest of the guys will have noticed how everyone went apeshit when he came out.

This^ He was on cloud 9,man! The guys were amazed that the magic is still there.
I'm delighted for the guy and the fans that have wanted it. He's been wanting back in for a quarter of a century. Hoping to see more and more of him as the tour rolls on.

Fantastic seeing steven up there. I'm sure that's healed a lot of his internal demons.

I think I read they have like four different stages, so this isn't the same one that went up in Chicago
Correct.
Would be logisitically nearly impossible to do tour otherwise -

The bitching and moaning here is hilarious.
Seriously 4 shows into a tour with a reunited Slash/Axl/Duff and people bitch about the setlist which includes Coma DTJ.
Please pick up some kind of hobby if the setlist is bothering you so much.

I used to respect what Niven said but wow he really comes off like a clown.

There's enough cover's already in the set list. They don't need anymore. A few more GNR rarities would be better.

wow what a moron.
Just continuously contradicts himself. ACDC should end it, I won't go see them but Dave Grohl should front them and I'll go see that.
Dave Grohl has a Bon Scott esque ACDC voice and Axl doesn't

Dunno what to say really. Coming to all of us i suppose. Better than getting older and older and being dependent i suppose, for a man so fiercely independent. With the truest of sentiment I've ever felt i can honestly say i loved that man and if i could swap places with him I would. I'm not a very sentimental boy at the best of times but i can honestly say that man, warts and all (and there were some) represented everything i everything i ever wanted to be and everything i knew i never could. He was a beautiful man. Really loved him. Outside of my blood i dont think I've ever loved anybody quite as much. Suffice to say his name will live long after we're all gone. Love you Muhammad, wish I could've met you.

ok Brian deteriorated big time in the last 7 or 8 years but on anything pre Razors Edge he sounds unbelievable.
Demonstrated in the clip below.

he also pronounces words in a way that make the clean voice sound cheesy... think estranged "i knew the storm was getting closaaah", if he pronounced the hard R and attacked words with a bit more diction, he would sound better using the clean voice IMO
He can't help that he was a product of the 90's

Off the top of my head
- Constant chopping and changing of musicians.
- No promotion of band members. Interviews etc. Very little promotion of the band itself
- 1 album over a 15 year period.
- Axl phoning it in for every tour. No rehearsing and his performances suffering.
- Absolute silence for periods of years on end.

Wonder will they mix it up at all with the setlists on the tour. They seem like well oiled machine that don't drift too much from the standard.
-
He kills it on highway to hell! Awesome
-
Angus doesn't half bang on with his solo does he!

Setlist gets a bit stale.
R'n'R Thunder and Given the Dog a Bone must go. They're showstoppers.
In Touch Too Much and Dog Eat Dog.
Disagree with giving the dog a bone pal

For me the sting has been taken out of it by AXL/DC. Im sure when Guns gets rolling again in June the excitement will return

The more i think about the whole thing the more I think Axl will remain as frontman for ACDC (as well as GNR of course). He's blowing everyone away with his performances and he's already mentioned in the BBC interview that if the band want him he wants to remain there. Would be cool to hear him on some new ACDC material.

He said he'd retire after the rock or bust tour. So I expect they finish the rescheduled U.S. dates then whatever happens after that is anyones guess. Although I hope ACDC calls it a day.
