  1. In a lot of cases I think why keep this amongst yourselves but there's a chance the band would come after people leaking stuff that was supposed to come out on a proper CD II. I'd just be curious how it stacks up to CD I and if the sound is generally the same.
  2. There's a certain point where the years pass and stack up on each other where this feels more and more true. Why wait 8,9,10 years to release new music when you could have struck when the iron was much more hot between 2016-18? The situation reminds me of System of a Down who haven't released an album since 2005 where the other members have basically said that their singer Serj Tankian is the main reason. The difference with Guns is none of the members will ever say its Axl. If Axl wanted to record music the rest of the band would be on-board. There's not much tension or issue with this now because they're older and have made more money than they ever did in their prime while seemingly coasting.
  3. There's some big names in there where it feels less like lesser acts have to resort to this and more that its a broader promotion. Are Nickelback, Janet Jackson, Rod Stewart, Shania Twain, and Snoop Dogg/Wiz Khalifa not great selling acts?
  4. Dizzy is the guy who knew where his bread is buttered and never rocked the boat while towing the line with Axl for 33 years now. I have much more respect for Slash, Duff, and Matt who actually questioned wtf was going on when Axl did jack shit from like 1994-1997 when they all decided being active musicians was better than doing nothing. I'm sure Dizzy is a nice guy but he seems like a company man through and through which doesn't necessarily warrant respect just because he managed to not get fired by Axl.
  5. Anything Goes is an odd one as its on their biggest album but hasn't been performed since 1988. If you were a young 20 something the last time they performed it you're now in your 50's. Think About You is also a rarity that had a 14 year gap from 1987-2001 in being performed. It was played from 2001-02 and 2006 but hasn't been played since.
  6. Bad Obsession is the most prominent song thats good in its own right, unique in its bluesiness, and completely doable by Axl in 2023 yet they haven't performed it.
  7. As the title states, do you prefer the Appetite for Destruction version of You're Crazy or the GNR Lies version of You're Crazy thats acoustic and the version they've done live since until they brought back the AFD version last year? I've always preferred the original as a speed metal type song and think the Lies version sounds retrofitted to work as an acoustic song.
