Are the recent lithos done in AI?
These are (Adobe Firefly.) I think you're on to something.
Prompt: concert poster for band titled "G N' R". vibrant colors, skulls and skeletons and guitars and top hats.
Prompt: concert poster for band titled "G N' R" in a realistic style. lots of skulls, guitars, an old steam train and a top hat and long-stemmed roses.

So the Hard Rock Live Hollywood Florida (Friday’s show) has a “no re-entry” policy.
Don’t believe them next time.
After we went in and bought our posters and shirts, my girlfriend went to the “ticket assistance” desk (it was called something else) and asked if she could go out and drop the posters off in our room and get back in. She was told to ask the Operations Manager (who was right there on the floor) so she asked, and the gal just scanned her iPhone again to apparently de-activate her ticket, she went out, up to the room, and right back in with no problems.
Probably helps to be a girl, but don’t just buy the “no re-entry” policy at face value. Sometimes all you have to do is ask.

Show was fantastic. Axl sounded great except for a stretch on Rocket Queen, disappointingly, as that’s my 2nd favorite, but he really was great throughout. My girlfriend focuses on Slash most of the show, and said he was as energetic as she’s seen him in the last few years live.
That venue is perfect. Anything less than couch seating with waitress service will forever be a disappointment from now on.
That show, like the two there in 2021 and two in AC in 2021, makes the case that that’s the type of gig these guys should have been doing the last few years without new (like, NEW) music to tour behind - 2-3 night stays in high-priced small theaters, maybe another residency in Vegas.
The blackjack tables in that place have the filthiest goddamn chips I’ve ever seen. Textured clay casino chips naturally collect body oils and then dirt, but the Floridian toe-jam on their chips was nasty. Wash ‘em once every couple years!
EDIT: I didn’t even hate Wichita Lineman this time, though there’s no reason for it to be in the set any longer, except that I guess they’ve already paid for the background animations.

Not really sure if anyone has experienced this or not but...
I ordered my Boston shirt and it was set to be delivered today. I got home from work to...not find the package. USPS insists it was delivered here but will get back to me tomorrow. My neighbors said they didn't take it inside/see it. I e-mailed the GN'R Tour Truck about a replacement but I fear I'm out of luck. Being out $55 or whatever is a lot. Hoping worst case they'll just take care of me and refund me but... anyone have this happen?
Used to happen every now and then at my old place. Mailman would scan packages as “Delivered” then actually deliver them the next day.

As mentioned, it was part of Duff's SiriusXM show this morning - the second song in. If you can't wait 'til midnight, it's available now on-demand via the app or web.

Hard Rock's website using the August 15 MetLife image to promote this show. Good stuff.
And I'm hoping they meant "endure as" and not just "endure"... although maybe it's meant that we have to endure the band.

Those (at least time I checked) was the VIP sofas behind the pit which comes with drink service. And there was only 1 pair.
I believe they were $2k a piece when released. It was what I was hoping for but by time my number came up on TM they were all gone.
I’m keeping an eye on tix for that show. As of right now I have pit tickets but I may buy another pair. Not sure I can make it 5 hours standing 😑
No, not $2k. $730 face for The Couches. ($850.78 each after fees/taxes.)

That's kinda... I mean... ah, fuck I'm in.

Stadium shows and outdoor festivals are the worst. As such, I’m just doing the show at the Hard Rock in Florida.
Since it’s just a cash grab tour, I wish they’d fully commit to the idea and do a ridiculously-priced theater/arena tour.

I hate Ticketmater.
I bought a ticket at Fenway but could only buy it via resale. Did it really sell out that fast?
No. The Fenway tickets are being sold through the Red Sox/MLB: https://www.mlb.com/redsox/tickets/concerts/guns-n-roses
Ticketmaster will only have resale tix.

By the time I got in the queue they were all gone. That was my plan 😞
if you don’t mind me asking how much were they? I had figured $2000 per seat.
PM me if you don’t want to share publically.
Oh geez, not $2K. A less painful but still stupid $730 per. All three of those rows same price.

Bought early access PIT for Hard Rock. Will be my first time in the PIT.
I grabbed two of the "couch" seats behind the pit on Slash's side. I'm so old.

I wonder why they aren't using any pyro on this tour
Covid protocols perhaps.
Not that you can catch Covid from pyro (although… have they done any testing?) but it’s one less “team” in the mix.

Slash is papering this show by himself.

Thanks very much! I was able to get one tonight!
Hope the intel helped! After seeing how easy the reentry was on night 1 and how close the parking garage was, we actually went in on night 2 at doors open at 6:30, grabbed prints and shirts and then took them back to the car then went back in just as Mammoth went on.
Interesting to see the limit of 1 poster per person last night after no posted limit the first night. (Actually it was listed as “1 person per poster” on the sign - wish I’d taken a pic of that.)

I haven‘t seen any vids of the show last night but why are people saying that Axl was drunk?
Maybe not used to seeing him in a good mood. He was acknowledging and waving to individuals in the crowd all night, and was fairly chatty (for Axl.)
Start to finish, two truly great shows back-to-back. Despite no set list change, I’m glad I went to both as they were outstanding.

Predictable set list aside, show was killer. Band was super-tight, Slash playing as well as ever, and Axl sounded the best out of the 10-11 reunion gigs I’ve been to (Vegas, NYC and NJ.)
Axl was in a great mood, which never hurts. At one point near the end (maybe just before PC?) he was on Duff’s side and backed into Slash and said “What the fuck are you doing over here?”
Small venue definitely the way to go. Charge more, play multiple nights.
Even managed to grab the lithograph inside 50 minutes after doors opened.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s show.
