I might be in the minority here, but does anyone else not care if they release any more 1987-1991 shows? We got the Ritz, ok cool. Let’s see some 1993, 2006, 2010 etc.

Highly unlikely that we'll get ANY non-Slash/Duff stuff over the next few years. They both most likely "have" to cash in from any near future release.
Yes, we've got Ritz91, but NOTHING official in live video shows from 1985-1990....so any unseen/unheard(!) Proshot and/or Marc Canter's vaults would be very enjoyable. For AFD 40th anniversary in 2027 a compilation from Canter's ca. 50 audio recordings and ca. 30 video recordings could turn into a great compilation from the early years. Add unheard demos from AFD we havent heard about. We didnt get any live stuff like that from the 30 anniversary LN'L release in 2018.
Axl would have to make peace with Marc first though.

I would love some well mixed 2006/2010 shows but I highly doubt that stuff is even near the top of any list of things to get done... Laughable to suggest that there's lists, I know.

I would love to hear the 1993 Chicago show properly released. And it's a crime that the UYI box set came and went without the documentary footage

Chicago92? Come on, we have this for over 30 years by now, all watched to death, what's the point?
If smth. from UYI should be up, it'd be cool to have some die hards getting involved and letting them pick selected shows WE know that WE dont have any audio/video from. Casue Guns hardly know what we do have or want. Or do a compilation from rare tracks from several UYI shows. A release like Flight666/Maiden did would be an cool option aswell, just add the "Perfect Crime" documantary and gold is out.

IN MY OPINION who watched and listen Tokyo DVD and MP3 (converts from DVD) a thousand time because i hadn't YouTube, Live Era or Bootlegs back in day, i say these 5 tracks sounds a little more clearer than the DVD. I'm not talking about the volume, which was low on DVD and high on the 5 bonus tracks, no I'm talking about the dynamics between the instruments are little bit more clearer. It still has a dull effect and sounds the same for the first time.  It's not a HUGE improvement, its minimal!

I prefer the new mix because the DVD volume is low and if you convert it with higher dB, it will cause clipping.

But I'm 99% sure, the songs are not direct ports from the DVD

the picture is very bad. Both tracks are Live And Let Die. Above is New Track vs DVD track in original volume (in full!) and underneath is New Track vs DVD track volume normalized (ony one part). The New Track shows more highs than the DVD version. I listen it again and changed the normalized tracks consecutively several times and for me the New Tracks are less dull than the DVD tracks.

Can you compare to the Laserdisc rip from Tokyo92? It's around, actually i think i know very well who transfered it  ;-)

Axl vocal lines right after the Slash solo (he changes the last part a bit):

"While you're breakin' down my back
And I been rackin' out my brain
Don't matter how we make it, it always end the same
You can push it for more mileage
    Your flaps are wearin' thin
Sleep on it till morning, but this nightmare never ends
Forget to call my lawyers with ridiciulous demands
    Couch trips getting older
Tell me how long has it been
Five years is forever, you haven'r grown up yet
And all you're doing baby the past is nothing yet
    "

Marc over played his hand awhile back during the release of Reckless road. He should have either released it in 1990 or during the locked and loaded set.

You might have never been allowed to see it, so get over your strategical mastermind releasing theories. He is in fact releasing it NOW, enjoy!!

  5. Yup! Time is running out for our guys,, there always is the risk of them not being around for much longer. So get what you can get - which is mainly 2-3 good songs from Axl vocally each show and a very few setlist surprises here and there . Add the enjoyment of a live show and its surroundings and you can have a great night. But if they wont be able to offer more surprises (god forbid (good!) new songs!) and go on with the same/similar NITL shows they're doing since 4/2016....there isnt much motivation for die hards to see more shows. Good move for us is to watch and check the upcoming US tour on youtube and fan recordings closely and decide if this is worth the time, money and nerves to do multiple shows at all.
