  1. she trying to be edgy and i get that, but she's coming across as clinically insane. and people are eating it up. i try to like her, i really do, but i just can't. i mean it when i say i would rather date justin bieber than ever have to sit through one of gaga's shitty "music" videos ever again.

  2. arcade fire-wake up

    matisyahu-one day

    one republic-apologize

    stellastarr-in the walls

    guns n roses-any

    ccr-any

    owl city-any

all songs i can listen to over and over again even after years of listening and never get tired of them

  3. never seen or even heard about it.

i should be a lot more prevalent in this thread considering i see a new movie every week. some thoughts:

no strings attached was one of the worse movies i've ever seen. not even natalie portman could save it. i knew going in it would be terrible, but i hoped at least the sex scenes would make it worth watching. is it just me, or are these "love can transcend all boundaries" movies pure unadulterated shite? i mean honestly, these films are convincing girls that if they start a purely sexual relationship with a guy, they can eventually win him over with there charisma and charm. which is nonsense. it makes me want to choke the people who made it. it really was just a crappier version of love and other drugs which was also crappy.

i was very nervous to see black swan because it looked so intense and i thought i might get scared(i scare easy), but it ended up being just as amazing as everyone says. i like a movie that makes me feel things and they don't come around often. once again, natalie portman has a gift and i'd sell my left breast to have an iota of her talents.

i realized something the other night. i don't know if anyone saw dragonball evolution, but it was bad. very bad. but then i thought about it, and i realized it's 100 times better than the entire twilight saga. so what does that say about us?

  4. I've never seen anyone mention Moon in this thread. I watched it a while back and really enjoyed it. Sam Rockwell stars and it's directed by Duncan Jones aka David Bowie's son, but I didn't know that before I watched it. Really good film, worth checking out.

  5. I liked it. Really just detest Kevin Spacey. :book:

    :o sacrilege!

Sorry, babe. Usual Suspects killed it for me. His only saving grace is American Beauty. :shrugs:

i'd appreciate it if you no longer talked to me directly.

    k-pax blew my mind.

  6. Money well spent.

No doubt about it! I love every fuckin' song on that record. I can't wait to get the 'Use Your Illusion' albums.

oh man, this is precious. reminds of my first days. you're going to want to head over to discussion and news for a couple of years, we'll see you back here when you're indifferent.

  7. Sorry. For me to stomach Keanu Reeves there has to be at least two extreme sports and one Lori Petty involved.

The girlfriend from The Fighter is my future wife. She was a redhead, but she was a fireball of sex and erotic white trash magnetism I wouldn't ever be able to let go of.

i'm starting to think you have a thing for her.

she really was amazing in that movie. i had no idea she was such a versatile actress. that movie was much better than i thought it would be, it's definitely one of the best of the year.

i just saw country strong and it was also better than i expected. garrett hedlund is country hot and a potential future mate.

  8. they are completely different and in my mind, it's impossible to choose which is better. i love that my dogs can go places with me, and they always wanna be where i am. they are a lot more work to care for though. my cats are as entertaining, friendly, and loving as my dogs are and i love them for their different personalities. cats are squishier and i love feeling them purr in my lap. oh crap...i'm crazy, aren't i?

  9. Really looking forward to some upcoming movies: Black Swan, Tron, and True Grit. They all seem as if they're going to be great, or at least a lot of fun.

all on my list to see.

i just saw 127 hours yesterday and HOLY SHIT! it's a very interesting movie and james franco is amazing but i never want to have to see ANYONE cut off their own arm again. i mean jesus!

  10. Into The Wild is such a good movie. I've been seeing it around my store for a while now but never bothered renting it. Anyway, I did and am glad I did. Such an inspirational yet devastating movie.

i watched the first half of that movie and was so inspired i planned a backpacking trip for the following weekend.

    Hated Into The Wild.

The guy wasn't a hero. He was a tool.

What he did in Alaska was reckless and dangerous and irresponsible.

There is a difference between going on an adventure or a spiritual journey and just being wreckless and stupid.

Rescue people DIE trying to save people like him.

saw the second half of that movie and wished i could have those few hours of my life back. what an awful story.
