  1. Sorry, link seemingly doesn’t lead directly to the snippet. But it’s out there, somewhere on Insta and Twitter. And it’s the one I’m the most excited for, based on the material we got to so far. Sounds brilliant, even if it’s just 10 sec. snippet.
  2. Anybody listened to the new snippet? holy mthfr https://www.instagram.com/reel/C40va43PgGm/?igsh=NTkzM250bzJwaHV3
  3. Never gonna happen because You just can’t handle Axl this responsibility and hope for a release anytime soon
  4. Have fun tonight. I have to wait til Monday!
  5. Anybody knows Dorothy? I’m not familiar with their/her songs but there’s a Slash guest appearance in the Troubadour on Gifts From The Holy Ghost. Not bad. I also like the studio version. Here’s the song with Slash I don’t know the song she sings on Slash’s album either so I have no idea what to expect.
  6. Usually he opens the doors around seven, goes up on stage around nine. Rocking the shit until 11. Sipping a drink and feeling fine. Seriously, it was like that in the past. I assume it’s still like that but somebody who attended a show this year can surely confirm.
  7. 1. Killing Floor 2. Hard Skool (Slash’s stamp all over it) 3. The General (outro contains the best guitar part out of the new GNR songs 4. Absurd 5. Perhaps (probably the best written song of the new singles but the one with the weakest guitar solo and the most annoying chorus ‘heey heeeeeeey’) 6. I’m Just Ken (great performance during the Oscars but nothing I’d listen to in private. Great work, though)
  8. After all there has to be a reason why he went to the studio in the first place, right? edit: maybe there will be some kind of bonus disc in a potential deluxe edition with songs and singers who didn’t make the final cut.
  9. Hopefully this record leads to some more cool collaborations. This first one was amazing and Steven Tyler was a big part of it. A song with him as vocalist would be even cooler, though.
  10. Two of each record: Nightrain, Rocket Queen, Patience, You're Crazy, November Rain, The Garden, Civil War, Estranged, Ain‘t It Fun, Raw Power
  11. But them ( the Glam metal bands) adapting GNR‘s style doesn’t make GNR one of them. And when they did GNR matured with UYI. GNR doesn’t become a glam metal band just because there are people who think it’s s glam metal. In the same way they don’t are a metal band just because some people without knowledge say they are. 99 percent say they are? Well, 99 percent are wrong then.
  12. But GNR is way more than Anything Goes. They arised from that scene but they grown out quickly. There were still some elements in their songs on Appetite but that was already a bit slower, bluesier, less metal and not as polished as the rest of the hairmetal scene.
  13. But it’s not only the name. To me there’s a difference in styles between GNR and Mötley.
  14. These songs might have some elements of hair metal but all in all it’s hard rock in my opinion.
  15. I don’t agree. Motley Crue is the stereotypical Hair Metal band and whoever puts GNR in this category has simply no idea.
  16. Was the Arena in Dublin packed? How was the response from the audience?
