  1. Sounds like generic hard rock (not unlistenable but not a reason to stop the radio dial). Glad he's still doing what he does, glad Duff's in it.

But what I really want to know is: Who is that hottie in the video?

    'Baz girlfriend, Minnie Gupta.

The guy is a fuckin' good musician, has a hottie as a girlfriend, and has a charisma incomparable. \m/, keep rockin' Bach!

  2. You do get a lot of rubbish at unis, though. I couldn't keep a straight face when one girl, who I'd previously considered very intelligent, expounded on the theory that race is entirely a social construct.

Wait, what? Could you please explain better what she meant by "Race is entirely a social construct"? It's like, black, caucasian, asian, it's entirely social/media constructed?

  3. The car designs this year will take some getting used to

But I have a good feeling about Ferrari this go around!

HOLY SHIT THEY JUST WOKE SHUMACHER FROM HIS COMA! He blinked and it could be looking good!

Where you saw it? I searched at google and found nothing

  4. MySQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript and C#.

If i could recommend anyone a code language, it would be PHP. Easy and fast to learn, you will be able to make systems, websites and CMS in less than 2 months. I have set up a basic ecommerce store in PHP (Coding now the javascript part) in less than 3 days with PHP, CSS and HTML, just after taking 25 days to learn PHP(Looping Structures, GET and POST, Cookies, MySQL Connection, and so on).

  5. I could do without all the running to be honest, and already felt that way back in the days.

Speaking of singing without moving--when Liam Gallagher started to lose his voice in the early 00s, there were fans to say, well, he's not a young man anymore. He was 30 or so. Always cracked me up.

A good example for me that a voice can last longer than that is Paul McCartney, and he's done his share of shouty singing. Only now is his voice starting to go.

As an Oasis appreciator, i can certainly give an statement about Liam's voice.

He started to lose because he never did any kind of vocal warming before concerts, which he is well-known for mocking about Chris Martin's vocal warming. Here is a link to the exactly interview in which he said that:

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/news/liam-gallagher-doesnt-do-vocal-warm-ups-2229031.html

That's why he sounds shitty since Don't Believe the Truth album. Comparing Liam to Axl is more an insult than a reasonable attemptive to explain his vocal problems.

  6. The São Paulo Prefecture, the Culture Secretariat etc...

Same goes for the ticket prices. They have absolutely no input in these. It's very rare for a band to have. On 2009 AC/DC came to Brazil and the tickets went on sale with a premium area. Word around was that AC/DC called it off until the promoters removed the premium area. It's the only case I know. Also, the concerts that are not in the South of Brazil don't feature that "Jungle Zone", because they are being promoted by a different agent.

Most times the band management is barely involved with the opening act, actually. Imagine with the audience areas.

When it comes to tour, Team Brazil's job is to get Guns N' Roses in touch with the promoter. The promoter handles basically everything related to the concert itself: tickets, venue booking, prices etc.

Interesting, didn't know about it. Thanks for the info.

So, there is a chance that the band's concert on other cities gets a different age classifying?

  7. The seats section is around 115 U.S. Dollars. Jungle/Paradise City, way more expensive, around 250 U.S. Dollars. But yeah, Team Brazil was quite bitch when they classified the show as 18+. If you are a student under 18, you'll have to bring a person responsible for you more than 18, that will have to pay the full price for the ticket, while you will pay half. Ya' know, if the person likes GNR, awesome. Otherwise, too bad.

    EDIT: São Paulo prices:

Team Brazil has absolutely NOTHING to do with the age allowed. Nothing.

OK, i said shit. So, who has?

  9. I'd like to see Scraped eventually replace WTTJ at US sport events. It probably would have already if it wasn't too advanced for most of its listeners.

I would too. Especially with the live drum intro, Scraped would be so much cooler than Jungle

    Cooler than WTTJ? Rly?

There is a big difference between being cool and being cooler than one of the best GNR sounds that still sounds decent nowadays. If he can barely sings WTTJ, how he would sing Scraped that has much more voice changes?
