It was the first time for me seeing this band, i never went because they played GN'R songs and i didn't like Myles singing them before the reunion lol. But they really blew me away, I want to go again next time around. Todd singing don't damn me is a different story tho, he did it justice

What the fuck.
That was perfect. An absolute demonstration of Force, Power and being the Guitar God.
I'm a bit lost for words. Anybody who says that Slash has lost "it" should go and suck whatever he or she wants to suck.
Exactly my reaction after the gig in Amsterdam a day later. It was like a 9 out of 10 performance! Top gig amazing experience

Man that's a while ago, I do remember the name children of revolution but couldn't connect it with anything, interesting

From when would that be? Last rock in Rio or 2017?

Well, that basically happened a few weeks ago
Kind of haha but you get what i mean

I want Slash to write and record a song with Steven Tyler. As for Axl i only want him to make music for GN'R or going for a piano solo record. He's done acdc which exceeded all expectations one could have about such a collaboration

In the end it doesn't really matter if it gets an award or not, we know about it, we value it for what it is. And people will listen to it, that's what made them one of the biggest bands. Not Grammy's or even a rock hall induction

I will not be watching that.
I didn't even like the new single, let alone do I want to see him perform Barbie songs
I'm with you on this, it's cool he does something else resulting in him playing at the Oscars but it's not for me. And him performing with an actor dressed in shiny pink ain't too rock n roll lol

I love this song a lot, Brian is a very good pick for the vocals. 4 years ago and i ain't joking, I had this little fantasy of Slash recording a blues album and imagined how awesome it would be, well see here the first taste of it! I am more than happy about this. On a different note quoting Axl on live era 'not be an asshole' but Slash touring this album in the near future will possibly mean no GN'R for a looking time...

On YT the video already has nearly 500k views

I am over excited about this! Outside of rock blues is my favorite genre and of course Slash is my favorite guitarist. this combination is gold for me. I am mostly looking forward to hear his take with Billy Gibbons on Hoochie Coochie man, Muddy Waters is my favorite blues musician.

I like it, his playing here kind of reminds me about Vengeance is mine with Alice Cooper

Slash did it, the awesome solo in bad apples, what a pleasure to see him doing it live! Can't decide which I rather wanna see in April don't damn me or bad apples
-
Myles appeared in the movie Rockstar along with Michael Star from Steel Panther. On topic, love the performance in the last video posted. Todd's doing well, and to hear slash playing that riff's plain awesome!
Smoke em if you got em!

it's becoming Guns N' DC but how cool is this? The 2 best rock bands still around are like best friends, and joining forces for the 2nd time

He didn't for many GNR songs, I doubt he has any more motivation to do so for his little solo shows lol. You can only make a multi millionaire "work" so muchTbh if I was THAT rich and in my late 50s, I'd phone it in too, it doesn't really matter, it really doesn't make a difference to ticket sales anyway
Well with Slash you never know, he is far from lazy when it comes to music. And I don't really find the term phoning it in adapt with Slash. I'd call it comfortable with everything as it is

It still apparently doesn't mean Slash would play the right solo
Well then he better listen to those songs with headphones on and rehearse the shit out of them

just seen that Perfect Crime & Bad Apples are alt choices in the set trying to find out if where i saw it from is reliable or not
If that's the case it'd be awesome if they play bad apples, I totally love the guitar solo in it! That would make my day
-
I don't like the video, it's not for me. And I think they could've chosen many other ways to tell the story of this song in a video. Ways that would be more realistic. But maybe it's just an experiment.

If I could change something then I‘d swap Sugar Cane with Call Off The Dogs and We Will Roam with The One You Loved Is Gone.
It‘s already a great set list but that would be nearly perfect. For me it's gonna be the first time seeing this band live, so I'm good with anything now but I get why you'd swap those

This, with him doing songs from uyi and cd + Elton John, some movie tracks like Gran Torino in 2011/12, and Layla by Derek & the Dominos. dream on maybe. Would be awesome
