I didn't say that quote specifically is fake. But the overall feeling I get when reading the quotes is that they are fake. I actually believe that whoever set up the webpage simply searched for Axl Rose quotes and added one from the page. The text on the webpage looks half finished, just look at the bio page where only Appetite is mentioned. I am sure Axl would have said something about Chinese Democracy, too.
With the " they forgot to close Appetite, I wonder if it's just the first bit of a longer bio? Could this be just a draft someone put together for Axl or management to check and then add to or something? Someone who doesn't know a lot about Axl and just googled "quotes Axl Rose" and picked that fake one? Well, I'm assuming it's fake for now, since none of us seem to know it.
EDIT: Sorry, rereading your post, I see I'm just repeating what you said

"releasing albums under his own name" would only make sense if it's either AI or a solo album release is imminent.
Yeah, but it also says that beyond GNR he also has collaborations with Elton John and Slash. It's nonsense. Surely no one can be that unprofessional.

Must be AI, no?
Look at this from the introduction:
QuoteBeyond his work with Guns N' Roses, Rose has also participated in other musical projects, including collaborations with artists such as Elton John and Slash, as well as releasing albums under his own name. This constant desire to explore different musical avenues and take risks has showcased Rose's versatility and creativity as an artist.

I don't recognize any of these quotes at all, none of them, where are they pulling these from?
You're right! What is all this? I feel like I don't even know my Axl anymore!

After a quick search on Google, I found this website citing this quote, but it did not say from where:
https://www.bookey.app/quote-author/axl-rose#:~:text=In the famous words of,in order to truly live.
Yeah, found that too, but nothing more. Who's the author of that page? How can we not know this!?

Also has links to official profiles on IG (we knew he had one, although he doesn't use it) and on TikTok (also no posts)
Is it a bit odd that his supposed TikTok has an old pic, while there are only new pics on his website?

Does the fact that it's Live Nation tell us more? I mean, could it be tequila or a book then? Or would it always be music related?
Just now, Voodoochild said:No, it's a smart pun, Axl rose to fame

Where does this quote come from? When or where has he said that?

It could also be a mistake and no one got it at that price. I once ordered something online that was like 80 percent off. I paid it and all, 15 minutes later the seller canceled the order as they couldn't deliver it. Checked the site again and it was back at its normal price.

We seem to be the lucky ones in Belgium and the Netherlands, Germany and Milan (only ones I checked) are a lot more expensive.

I don't see what's so sad about it tbh, I just looked at the pic now. didn't know Axl was holding shit with both hands.
Just a feeling I got. Maybe I found it sad because some fan felt it warranted a picture being taken and posted all over the internet? You're making me overthink this now. Why is this picture making me feel sad?

is it sad for Axl or sad for Beta? the "hold my umbrella" thing? surely not sad for Beta, as she's living the good life thanks to Axl.
never liked umbrellas myself cause one hand is always busy holding it when it's raining. I guess I would feel like a cunt if someone that was working for me held my umbrella for me, but I need to think about this subject some more to form a more conclusive opinion on the matter.
I don't know who it's sad for, I just think it's a sad sight in general And the umbrella is broken too, so that doesn't help!

Axl should throw his bandaids in the bin. Gross! That he just throws them there where the plebs can clean them up is disgusting.
He might also contemplate a restraining order against fans who collect bandaids, especially the bloody ones, and people with his sig tattooed on their head.
The fact that he signs his used bandaids has me worrying a bit about his own sanity. And it's plain sad that Beta has to hold his umbrella.

Great watch. A bit confusing to see Axl with the tophat

I always have the forum on 'unread content', so no difference here either. I guess I've always had a forum fluid view then.

That's a truly weird and unusual way to look at "employment" and "partners".
No, it's plain wrong. You can't make up your own definition of something and then blame people for not getting your personal definition of something and pretending they're being willingly obtuse for not getting it.

@Scream of the Butterfly Duff brought up Trump's comments because Trump is literally insane lol, and there is video and audio evidence of what a scumbag he is. If there were video and audio evidence of Axl behaving this way, then he'd be on my scumbag list as well, but there isn't, it's a lot of he said, she said. Now, of course there are predators in the music industry, but as I am not a huge follower of the other people mentioned and have no clue about them, I can't say whether they are guilty or not unless I had their case information.
I'm not trying to say Axl was some gentleman, he wasn't, none of them were. They acted like cavemen where women were concerned. I think everyone can say he had Erin had an abusive, toxic relationship and if this were something she was talking about, I'd be more likely to believe her. Stephanie I'm not so sure, she only sued him for DV after he sued her first for retaliation. I'd like to learn more about the Chicago girl and what happened there, was this a case of someone trying to be mean and abuse a girl, or was this a BPD or bipolar episode where everyone got kicked out of the apartment? I don't enough about that to make a judgement either.
So far, Sheila and Little Michelle come across as liars, I know it's popular to make Axl out to be this cartoonishly evil villain, but I'm not placing blame on him for two things that sound like absolute lies. Their owns words are against them. Do I believe that Slash was picking up and twirling this girl in front of a bar, noticing a pregnant belly and being concerned about it? No, that sounds like some self-insert fanfic on Tumblr. Do I believe she miscarried in the bathroom two seconds after this, was able to clean herself up, got propped up by the band and sang Don't Cry to? No. Do I believe Axl at 23 would have been wanting to settle down with a 15 year old that was having his baby and then was heartbroken and blaming her for an induced abortion or something? Again no, we're back at the fanfiction with that. Then, when it comes to the rape and assault, one second Izzy is there and one second he isn't. At one point it's only Axl, and then its 2-3 men, then no it's just Axl again. Her mother's boyfriend was there and got her, but had nothing to say about a 15 year old being gang-raped and beat? Different mindsets maybe, but in my area, if any man went to pick up their child or a girlfriend's child and could see her beaten and raped, that storage unit would have been torn down with their bare hands. And Duff going around her house, begging her not to press charges and Axl crying everytime he seen her afterward? Just not believable. It sounds like this woman does have some mental issues, and I hope she gets help for them, but as her podcast and book never went anywhere, it doesn't sound like she's a very credible person.
Thanks for reminding me Yeah, I'd forgotten those little fanfic details.
No one I think is saying Axl has never been anything but a gentleman to women in his life, but these women are nothing but a curse for other women and victims. It's nuts that especially someone like Little Michelle gets attention in the media. She obviously needs help and they're just exploiting a mentally unstable woman for a juicy story that no clear thinking person will believe.
After all that has surfaced in the last years, I'm still surprised no real convincing story has come out about anyone in GNR, because I'm sure they all have done things that weren't okay.

someone should spend those 150 dollars and ask those questions and find out
He said he MIGHT have an answer. So unless you want to know how to start or end a band or play the bongos, I'd skip.

I like it even more on the 2nd listen. Great video as well!
Do you guys think the signed versions, as opposed to Amazon com, will be real (each unique) or templated stamp? I'll go with Amazon if it's the latter (cheaper shipping to Canada)
I ordered a signed cd from Slash before and that was actually signed.

Exactlt. I forgot who it was, but you're right. Slash2Baz and he is 100% reliable. And Slash is too, as long as it comes to his solo stuff

I find the idea of a cover album exciting. Slash has enough albums that he composes himself. Now if it was Axl coming with a cover album, THAT would be disappointing to me
I hope there's a few unexpected guests. Always nice to have some crossovers and Slash guests on so many things it must be easy for him to find people eager to sing or do a song with him.

My God, Axl predicted a VERY scary thing in around 1991! 😱🤔💡

True. Coincidentally, I believe it was also Izzy finding that head and an arm
I thought his tweet at the time left no room for interpretation. I think it was something like: They didn't want to split the loot equally, all the rest is BS.
