How could State of Grace be the same as that General phone clip? How very odd. Plus the guy from the phone clip is a member here, wouldn't he have said that State of Grace was the song he heard as The General? It doesn't sound at all alike to me.

It would be so nice if we got a new song at Graspop. Been to 9 shows over the years and only once gotten a first, I think, Slither in Berlin. (Not a new song, but still...) They tend to surprise us sometimes, so it would be cool if they would do so now too But I think in the Vigo show they played 6 or 7 songs I've never seen them do live, so I'll be happy if we get a similar setlist regardless.

When it was launched (or well, the website anyway), I was still on the Nightrain, so it must've been 2018, I think. A guy on there bought some stuff, like a pin and shirt or something, and after half a year or whatever he got his money back, if I recall correctly. In the big airports, there's a million ways they can disappear, but not in those small local airports. I wonder what they'll be doing there for a few days. No, fuck him for still, after all these years, not being able to find a competent company that can send out these things correctly and in a timely manner. Everyone else in the world (including Duff and Slash, maybe he should ask them some advice) seems to do just fine with that. But for some reason, things always go wrong with GNR stuff. The unprofessionalism is incredible.

Maybe if you can take a tube you'll be able to put it on a locker? Sometimes they have that. But I don't know the Dutch venue and sometimes it doesn't fit the locker. You have to be a bit lucky and sometimes be resourceful. I hope you manage! And fingers crossed for ice designs. I think the lithos always look better irl than the pics you see.

A bit over 40*60 cm. You don't buy it rolled up. You have to get it before the show and then try to keep it nice and straight for many hours Unless you have someone waiting outside to hand it to them, so they can bring it to the car or back to the hotel or something. I've also known that people in the merch stand want to save it for you until after the show, but last year in Holland, I had no luck with that, so I didn't manage to get a litho then. I didn't want to stand around in GC trying to keep it in mint condition and I couldn't go out and bring it to the car, because I wouldn't be allowed in again (I managed to do that once at the show in Werchter) and after the show, they were sold out. So I missed out on the litho last year.

Really loved the show. I just listened to a podcast and apparently there is some criticism because it's too white. I don't get that. It's an American filthy rich media concern family. Plus I'm pretty sure Ken's ex was a person of colour, and at least one of his kids too, and Jess, his assistant that quit because of Mencken. And then there was Stewy. On IMDB the people that give it super low scores, are saying it's not relatable. And I wonder since when has that become a thing? I don't relate to any of the characters in Breaking Bad either, or Stranger Things or Dexter or whatever. People in series usually lead a slightly more exciting life than the average joe. Anyway, I loved Succession and I think I will try to rewatch it. I rarely do that as I don't have that much time, but I think this would be worth it, as there are many small things that probably only make sense at the end and it's easy to miss them when you watch the first time, without knowing what it will all lead to in the end. It's a series that will stay with you after it's ended, trying to grasp all that's happened. And yes, what was said before, the theme song is absolutely great, I'd never skip it.

What about the show shirt? I haven't seen that in the pics here and since I don't really like any of the designs (I'm so sick and tired of the AFD cross!!!), I always buy the specific show shirt, but Jesus, if they look that shitty... It's so bad we have a hard time believing they're official, even if we hear they're being sold at the official merch booth by someone who was at the show I thought merch was Fernando's priority. Ugh.

If it's an epic song, I think it will be received with enthusiasm, only to turn negative upon further listening. There will be complaints about mixing or whatever technical stuff I know nothing about it. If it's just a normal, unpretentious song, people will be mad at GNR because they've expected too much for so many years. It's impossible to live up to its expectations, I think. That's why I find it odd they kept the title. As for what I will do, it will feel like an important moment listening to it for the first time, but for me personally, it's not that different from hearing the leaks for the first time years ago. I just hope I like it and I will know once again why I love the band so much. I hope it has a least some depth in the lyrics and stuff.

Oh, how often I've thought 'this is going to be epic', only to be disappointed 90% of the time But yeah, let's hope we get Perhaps and The General. Maybe especially The General, as that has been blown up so much even if we don't really know what it is like. I find it odd that it's still The General.
