Is it weird they used the word "footage"? 

My guess is new concert "footage" with old studio music played over the top...

Television evangelism was everywhere at the time. That's where I've always assumed the line came from.

Treat the people doing this like the miserable, sad bullies they are.

Ignore them. Starve them of the attention  and the reactions that they seem to be getting their jollies from. 

This is the advice I have always given my kids, and for the most part, it works. 

Hopefully they will crawl away to their little holes and find something else to focus their petty little minds on.

Checked this thread to learn more about living in other countries,  left it knowing a shitload more about volcanoes...

How much do we read into the "live album" comment?

This is probably a Gibson promo shoot, but you have to ask WHY is it here? They could do a promo shoot anywhere.  

Slash wouldn't just be there for the shoot. They are doing it while he is there for something else. What that something else actually IS, is anyone's guess.

I would estimate 85-90% full. The upper section of the stadium was never offered for sale. They usually only open that section for major sporting events.

The next show starts in a few hours. When will it be moved over to this section?

That'll be tomorrow. I'm going to the show tomorrow, leaving home early in the morning. My biggest worry is we had a heat wave like this at the start of the summer, and fires closed the highway in several places. It made getting up and down the coast a long and sometimes difficult trip.

Yep. I live 5 hours up the coast from Sydney and it's the same temp here. Walking outside is like walking into a blast furnace, especially after walking out of an air conditioned office.

41 degreees (105.8 F) at the stadium right now. Keep hydrated, people.

It's looking like its gonna be hot Friday and Saturday. (High 30's - low 40's depending on which site you look at).

I'm going to the Saturday show. Staying at a hotel about 5km from the stadium. Gonna taxi it there and back. Can't fuckin' wait.

WOW. Hi guys. Don't post here too often these days, (life is pretty hectic?) but just wanted to share that as a Christmas gift, I was given tickets and a hotel stay to see the show, with my older brother (who is currently recovering from a heart attack ?and he has never been to a "big" show in his life). Our wives organized the whole thing, transport, accommodation, reserved seats, the works.? 

A bit exited right now (and maybe a little drunk), but just had to share. See you there.??
