As much as I fanboy out when this band does something interesting every 20 years, I never get how others can prattle on about how Axl looks for pages on end. That’s next level.

Remember in June when for about 5 minutes it seemed like they might actually release The General? That was fun.

I think both Perhaps and Atlas are relatively forgettable, though I probably lean more towards Atlas bc I adore the wild drums on it. I’m hoping they release The General first, if not, at the same time as Perhaps. Imagine GNR dropping something we *haven’t* heard yet. What a wild thought! 😏

This is it, honestly. It sucks, but they can literally afford to be apathetic and arse around the remaining GNR die hards about new music. It’s that simple, however ugly it may be. If new music was a priority on any level…it would be a priority…and time and time again we’ve seen that it’s just not.

Man, being a fan of GNR is fucking exhausting. Just release something already.

Not that common sense or smart marketing have ever existed in this dojo, BUT if the idea was/is for new single(s) to boost ticket sales for the US run, it’d make sense for that to happen *before* that run begins, as in this week or next. Having said that, they just won’t, cuz GNR. But it’d make sense.

I really hope they pull a switcharoo and release The General at the top of the next tour. I’ve never been blown away by Perhaps, and like Atlas, feel like it’s very much a filler track.

It’s absolutely incredible how this fucking band conjures new ways to be this fucking disappointing.

Talking out of my ass, but if the idea is for the next release to draw attention to the US dates, wouldn’t it make sense to drop it *before* the shows begin? The way Absurd and Hard Skool were released in 2021 couldn’t have moved the dial that much for ticket sales, especially with no video(s) or real promotion. Im just trying to to make sense of this clusterfuck.

So is the consensus now that “plans have changed” in regard to The General & Perhaps? 🥺

What’s also clear is that no one within this cult-like operation has any radar for just how inept they allow themselves to look, and regularly.

I’m starting to wonder if the odd withholding of the other tracks they have “in the can” is just as much an effort to string along Slash & Duff as it is with the fans.

After all the Team Brazil fuckery, deleting posts and dragging their heals officially releasing it, it would be pretty hilarious if The General finally just leaked this week. 😆

I wish Team Brazil put the same amount of energy into releasing GNR music that they do ensuring no one talks about the possibility of it. 👌🏼
