  1. There’s no sign of Perhaps on TouchTunes’ social media. If it was some sort of sponsor they’d surely make sure we know about it. This was clearly a mistake. The release should be this coming Friday.
  2. I don’t know if someone posted this, but the song is already on some Japanese website that sells music. It can be seen in the Wayback Machine: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:https://ototoy.jp/_/default/p/1766070 And if you access the link now, it has a countdown that leads to a Friday release (8/18): https://ototoy.jp/_/default/p/1766070 Also, HQ “artwork” here: Thanks HGH
  3. Cool that they're releasing Ritz 91 since it's not only a great show but has a very unusual setlist with Mr Brownstone not being the second song, PC being early in the set and Jungle being the closer. BTW seeing how he sings fast-paced tunes like Shadow & Reckless Life pretty decently nowadays imo (angry Mickey I call it) I think Axl could do a decent job if they played Perfect Crime now. The angry Mickey sounds better than the normal Mickey.
  4. It’s still a leak IMO, because it probably was something automatic. The song wasn’t supposed to be released yet.
  5. Nah, we have already seen two photos where it says "The General". That's the name they'll use. Absurd said "Absurd" in the setlist before we knew it was Silkworms.
  6. There's still one, uploaded a month ago. But yes, most of them were deleted by Universal in recent weeks.

  8. I did the math of what the timer said when I took my screenshot, and it should stop at 23:51 of today (my local timezone, GMT -3). So in 12 hours and 20 minutes from now.
  9. Yeah, there was one on YouTube. I actually sent that video to @GoodOlJohnnyK when he asked for The General, along with the original cellphone clip. Voice was very hearable. I guess he couldn’t hear it on that one either
  10. I don't even think there's a reason to discuss this. The vocals are literally there, they can be heard.
  11. So what? Tommy gave his own arguments as to why he thinks CD will be seen down the line as their best album. And those are valid arguments, just like the ones you just gave. What's really pathetic is the usual hate-induced vomit one has to read in every single CD-era related thread. Same with the "X artist says something negative about Axl" threads. You just don't see people laugh-reacting or saying shit about Buckethead in Slash-related threads. And with that said, I don't agree with what Tommy said. Chinese Democracy always was and always will be a niche album, and AFD will still be cultural hit in 100 years from now. But that doesn't mean that it will be seen as their "best" record As I said, there are plenty of valid reasons to think that Chinese Democracy is the better album (I personally don't think so, even with CD being my all-time favorite album). Also, someone is not an "arrogant, deluded and biased douche" just because he/she has a different opinion than you
  12. What is it so arrogant of what he said? That Chinese Democracy have more mature lyrics than Appetite for Destruction? No shit, Sherlock. It's not like he said that the Chinese Democracy solos "don't hold any melodic significance" like Slash did... are you going to call him an "arrogant, deluded and biased douche" too?
  13. I prefer Absurd yeah, both studio and live, but Hard Skool is pretty nice live too. Axl sounds bad on it, unfortunately. Although he was somewhat better on this recent European run.
  14. I went to see them last September, and the "revamped" setlist would be enough for me to go again. Bad Obsession, Pretty Tied Up, Down On The Farm and Anything Goes (and with some luck Locomotive and a few Chinese deep cuts) are worth the price of admission, IMO. New songs would be welcome too. While their studio versions suck (HS more than Absurd), those two are really cool live.
  15. Yeah, there's an audio recording from an afterparty of GnR's 2010 Vienna show (thanks @Mindray11 ). It's barely hearable, but well enough for @evader that made his own interpretation of the song using the Chinese Democracy RockBand stems (and other stuff). I'll DM you both things
  16. I remember the first time I heard it was at the Apollo show that got streamed, back in 2017. People were calling it the "demon voice". I believe it was the first time he did that.
  17. I extracted all the frames of the video using FFMPEG and it's a bit more clear on mine. That's most likely an "e". So combining both stories it should be "The Ge..."

  19. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1776500235915125/posts/3635030136728783/ I remember the guy. He is the one that said he'd heard Bad Apples at the Abu Dhabi soundcheck (and Bad Obsession, PTU, etc). He posted some updates on that FB group. He has nothing to do with the "The General" setlist photo, though. That's another story.
