  1. I find it odd that Live Nation is behind the site unless it is somehow related to a solo tour, be that music performances or a book tour. Even though Live Nation has a artist management arm, it does only seem to be in relations to tour management etc… Yes, I am aware exactly how this sounds, and how EXTREMELY unlikely it is that Axl would do a solo tour of any capacity. It is still strange though
  2. That's a later tour start than I would've anticipated. Why wait until fall?
  3. That was Coma he sang at the RIR soundcheck, there is no video or audio of Axl singing Crash Diet (outside of the demo recording of course) to my knowledge.
  4. This is really interesting news! Hopes it sees the light of day sooner rather than later! I'm a bit confused about the whole "auction off" part though, will it be a Wu-Tang situation where one person will own the record or how would that work? Does anyone know how stuff like this is usually done, in regards to auctioning of a record for charity?
  5. A little tip if you're looking for a OG cover AFD, assuming you're after the cover art and not the first US press, is to look for a European pressing. I have a 1987 German pressing that I picked up a few years ago for $15 here in Sweden. It's currently on Discogs in -NM condition for around $50. Funnily enough the censored cross cover is very rare over here, been looking for it for a while but prices are always way to high. I also have to "censored" South Korean version where they've simply put the GNR logo over the woman on the cover, it's missing Brownstone, Michelle and Nightrain since they where deemed by the Korean government to be to explicit.
  6. I've said it a million times on here before but Wembley '91 is definitely my favorite UYI show. I haven't listened to all AFD bootlegs yet but out of all I've heard, nothing comes close to that one. That whole first leg of the UYI tour is a really fun listen. Most shows are phenomenal from those three and a half months. Well, apart from St Louis which is imo undoubtedly the worst show they ever did. It's almost a blessing that the band walked of stage and ended that train wreck
  7. Just got my vinyl after weeks of waiting... Being the EU version it's pixelated (in a way that looks far worse in person that it does in pictures). My copy is also fairly scratched up from the get go which, combined with the mix of the General, makes for a delightful listening experience.
  8. It's not known, no available version of You're Crazy from the 2021 tour matches with the Hard Skool EP version. It's probably from one of the two Atlantic City shows though since that's where Don't Cry is from. That would make it 2021-09-11 or 2021-09-12. I did a deep dive on all Hard Skool EP live tracks in this thread last year if you're interested.
  9. Right, of course! That makes sense! Thank you!
  10. I have not kept up with videos of the shows recently, but what song does Slash use the Firebird during? I thought that guitar was only used for The Seeker, and that has been dropped since last year.
  11. I had the exact same thought! If anyone has time to do a comparison they definitely should
  12. This is the exact quote: ”If your order is or contains a pre-order product, your item(s) will be picked, packed and shipped within 24 hours of the stated release date.“ What I’m trying to say is that if none of us are able to hear The General next Friday, we should not be to surprised!
  13. I read in my confirmation email that the vinyl won’t be shipped until the release date, so there’s a good chance none of us will get it until a couple of days after the 27th I would assume?
