Fun way of spelling RHCP another band that got 'mocked'.
-
We can only speculate, some suggested past trauma or GAD/BPD, hitting the sauce, covid, whatever it is, it's a good time to bring up a Buzz Osborne quote, something to the effect of; "if people knew the real Mike Patton, I'm not sure many would be fans of his, he's a lot weirder than people give him credit for."
Personally I think he can't be arsed with FNM going through the proces of recording with them again and yeah, maybe the spotlight got too bright for him.

alternative bands is the stupidest label, a broad brush-over on some of the most interesting work that saw mainstream stay. Like time, you dislike the generation that came before, it's protocol in any event.
Real musicians are allowed to talk some shit, or rather artists.
-
Much better to be a woman beater, mysoginist, drug addict and take your pick, right.
Nothing more than assesing the absurdness of the situation was all Patton did along with two other FNM members, the rest is propped up by the media.

gnr meteor strikes again.. conspiracy #20002345 in gnr land ;they are doing it on purpose

Faith No More is probably the best band of this era, Angel Dust is way more imaginative than Nevermind, for example.
and basically no one can go near Mike Patton vocally, he's a beast. so that was fun to see them play before Guns and after
Soundgarden at Vincennes.
cool reaction from Axl considering all the shit he was dealing withBig words but I'm partial to agree, kinda sad what spawned out from the alternative scene with them being the main inspiration to a lot of that and leaving rock in the state it is today, more or less.
It was most likely bound to happen anyway, however it irks me when 'those' bands cite them each and every time.

to not hear another gnr album, because then I would be dead.

it's like a crystal ball

Staying on the trail of vagueness, I'm going with Avant Garde, rearrange your earbuds and let us pick up the missing pieces through the acid dream.

shacklers or riad, just to see slash butcher it

It's Into The Void innit for multitude of reasons, lot of their stuff is tops tho' specially their early work.
Most of it played to death, you eventually come around again.

Aside from the last paragraph, he's not wrong..
Let me fix it; Izzy is more lazy than Axl*.

hipster fantano was very negative about the song, shocker.. Guess the song sucks now
-
Izzy is Izzy, I guess kudos to him. He delivers the most bland middle of the road uninspired rnr which is fine when you put him in a band role. Hard to imagine him in gnr today, I'm very indifferent about him, he's living his best life it seems, good on him.

The vast majority of gnr fan, you can almost sort of picture isnt going to be too happy with cd material. Then theres another group whos so opposed to cd and most importantly the circus surrounding it, that they would never be able to appreciate it, generalized answer, but take your pick.
Sure some don't care for it at all, but those are not the ones you find on a gnr forum

Ah yes the spag incident and a dysfunctional tour, certainly the high point of any band's career, lol. Hold my rose colored glasses for me why don't you.

Riad sucks. It's the only song I don't listen to anymore on CD. I like the mayhem of the solo coming back into Axl doing the pre chorus bit, but that song is a bit of a mess. Probably the worst song GnR have released. Below Absurd and my world.
you lost me at the end there, well to each his own.
-
song doesn't need a memorable over the top kewl solo, I will say it is missplaced and a lil odd, but you need the Slash nod so there..

This is the most paranoid take ever, but I want to get it on record. I have an overwhelming feeling, we HAVE head "The General" and it will be State of Grace, or Atlas, or heavily cannibalized versions of them.
I too hope you be wrong, if it's any salvation there'd be a good song to enjoy.
-
hurts my sensitive heart each every time Riad gets cast as a CD throwaway track, I get it, buut please leave Riad out yo mouth when mentioning scraped.
-
please just please don't dumb it down for release..
