The Collection: Slash, Deluxe Edition from Gibson Publishing
Gibson Publishing, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, is the next major step from Gibson Brands, contributing to the evolution of collaborative artist partnerships and promoting music and music-related topics to fans worldwide. As with the recently launched Gibson Records, the first project for Gibson Publishing is a collaboration with Gibson Global Brand Ambassador and rock legend, Slash. Launching simultaneously with the Slash episode of Gibson TV’s popular series of the same name, The Collection: Slash is a premium coffee table book that explores in unprecedented detail the instruments Slash has used on countless hit records on stages worldwide, in front of millions of adoring fans. While Slash’s association with the Gibson Les Paul™ is well known, Les Pauls are only part of the story. Over the years, Slash has amassed a staggering collection of about 400 instruments, from holy grail vintage pieces to prototype Gibson signature models to guitars made by B.C. Rich®, Guild®, boutique acoustic luthiers, and plenty more besides.
Launching initially in North America only, The Collection: Slash is available to pre-order in Custom and Deluxe editions from August 25th via Gibson.com. The Deluxe Edition of The Collection: Slash is presented in a slipcase and measures 240 x 340 mm (9.45 x 13.39”). It includes a cover poster, four guitar art prints, and a certificate of authenticity. The initial print run of the Deluxe Edition is hand-signed by Slash and is limited to 1,000 copies worldwide.
Over 300 pages in length, The Collection: Slash is lavishly illustrated with numerous photos of the guitarist and his impressive guitar collection, shot by the Gibson team andlegendary rock photographer Ross Halfin, whose relationship with Slash extends back to an early Guns N’ Roses portrait session from 1986. Accompanying the imagery will be insights drawn from brand new, exclusive interviews with Slash himself.
Written and edited by Gibson editor-in-chief Chris Vinnicombe, The Collection: Slash is a must-have for both Slash fans and those who admire fine guitars.
Gibson Publishing is committed to sustainable and environmentally conscious publishing and uses FSC-certified and recycled materials wherever possible.
Stay tuned for additional exciting releases from Gibson Publishing in the coming months, including print publications celebrating milestones, brand stories, artist collaborations, and more.

Tomorrow's show is canceled, Slash's cat died, and Axl tweeted that it is his cat's birthday, also Happy 4th. Couldn't be more of a GN'R day 😂

There is a total hatchet job already on The Scotsman website…..🤦♂️
Some people are just thick as mince unfortunately and think this is the same band/Axl as 1992….RIOTS!!! HISSY FITS!!!
Im as gutted as the next person I won’t be there tomorrow….but what are you gonna do? 🤷🏼♂️
At least they will reschedule the show for the future and it will more than likely be a better show. It will give Axl the time he needs to get his throat and voice were it needs to be.

The guy is in the best shape that he has been in, in a long time. He obviously is trying his best to kick ass on this tour. Do people really think that it is just because he doesn't care and wants to cancel the show? If he needs rest, he needs rest, especially if it is because of his voice. I mean, he is a singer. People are so stupid and just like to bitch about anything.

If this is what needs to happen for Axl and his voice to get better I am all for it. Health is more important than anything.

Spinning a few records Donda by Kanye West and Tom Perry and the heartbreakers Greatest hits. I had been wanting to get it on vinyl and Target had it at my local store for $11.

I hate the bell vs the original intro. There are things I like about both of them. Both are okay but I think I like the demo better.

They're based in London so likely got free tickets
They also go to a lot of GN'R shows all over the globe. Those shows were probably free too lol

I dont care about cutting the opening acts as long as they wont hurt GN'Rs stage time to be honest.
I am just hoping for a good stream today Got to have people in there for that though.

It was badass seeing all these guitars! Gibson did a good job with this. I really want one of the books but not for $1k or $250. It does look like a cool book though. Hopefully there will be a reasonably priced unsigned one available after the initial run. I just feel like I have enough signed Slash memorabilia. Who am I kidding, if the price was $100-$200, I would probably buy one, lol.
