Sorry to be a pain ....can someone summarise to me what's been going on since the jukebox leak?
Away from home and can't scroll through the whole thread!
On another note......found a NITL pinball machine to play for the first time today and made the scoreboard!
The band removed it from TouchTunes on Sunday night after mainstream music sites picked up the story. Nothing else has happened since but the band did soundcheck Perhaps today

it's a bit early tho is it not?
It's about 1:30pm in New York. They probably have to get there and take care of a couple of things before they actually do the soundcheck. They might be trying to get it done before the storms roll through too.

The “behavior” to me sounds more like how modern Axl enunciates in the modern age. It’s hard for me to say if he really would’ve been recording in 2023 though, it’s possible it’s a 2006 or 2007 recording though?
I think it's possible that there were some overdubs done recently considering his low register is still alive and well. Maybe 2014? He did post a studio pic on Twitter around the time of the final Vegas residency

Well it’s Monday morning so kind of expected. Nobody was working or willing to fix it on a weekend. Yesterday was the window to hear it
Now we know that it exists and it was ready for release. Hopefully they put it out there soon
My bad, I should have been more clear- the artwork from the Reddit link was removed by the mods of r/GunsNRoses

That’s some sick artwork. Definitely not AI generated. Font looks great too and it looks it wasn’t just Placed there with PS or illustrator. It blends with the artwork
They removed it

I wonder how old some of those newer vocal takes are?

It's weird how that says "album"
That's just how streaming services classify singles now.

I was surprised by State of Grace. The version we have still needs to be fleshed out a little more but it's got a good foundation.
Atlas was disappointing though. I don't dislike it, it was just hyped up for years and fell short of my expectations.

But will Volcano be there? Wonder if he's still upset that Slash regrouped with GNR...
I remember people spamming 'unban Volcano' on a periscope feed during the Troubadour show

How does everyone feel about all the odd sounding “hey heyyyys” and “ayyyyys” in the demo of ‘Perhaps’? Are you hoping they’ve been removed? I find them a bit jarring myself 😬
I personally like it. It's a cool little call and response thing with the vocals.

Thanks, it didn't show up when I searched for it.
And when the fuck did Oldest Goat get banned
He got banned?! That's insane. He got a little heated sometimes but I've never seen him say anything on here that constituted a ban

Ok guys, I have some new info regarding the upcoming release. Not sure if this is related to the single or the album but here we go:
- Grey suits and red ties are involved, might be related to the promotion/music video, not sure
- Term "quattro" is related
- Also "pizza", but probably not "quattro stagione"
- Number 90 is also important
- They will be doing late night promos this time, Jimmy Kimmel etc
There was something more but I forgot. Since this info was "given" me via dream, it might not be totally accurate, but I'd say around 92% of it is true. We'll see...Source: trust me bro

Guys, somebody posted a video of the general with lyrics on this chat a few days back, just the littke phone recording but with better quality.
I cant find it, could anybody repost it?
I wouldn't read too much into it, posters on multiple forums have posted alleged song lyrics before, plus we've had the phone recording for five years and I'm pretty sure someone cleaned it up a little bit around the time it leaked

Guys they're obviously waiting for the heat wave in the US to subside. It would be really insensitive to people without air conditioners if they released a new song during this difficult time /s

Why gilby?
The list of enemies was people that Axl considered to be "allies" of Slash. I'm a little confused by Gilby's inclusion as well though because Axl performed Dead Flowers with him in 2000

Same. The guy was a fixture on this forum as well as a few others. I totally respect his decision to distance himself from this place though.

Probably not. There's always a possibility that Axl changed the name of the song for the release. The Blues - > Street of Dreams.
There's always a chance but I don't think that's case since it was on the setlist as Perhaps

Things take time, but 15 years, I don’t know.
Oh for sure, I agree. I was talking more from the point in time of the reworked songs being finished or near finished. I guess I was just trying to illustrate that the release process for any major-label artist is not as simple as it may seem from the outside.
That's for a release though, I'm astounded as to why they'd put it on the main setlist, soundcheck it and not play it.

The tour promotion and production is super professional. Songs are ready to go, and they're just playing their cards with deals/promotions etc.
In all honesty, this is probably what is holding it up. The artist has to record the song and then mix/master it, which takes a decent amount of time and endless correspondence between the artist and the engineer. Add a label on top of that and it takes even more time. Not to mention artwork, distribution, graphics/lighting for live performances, negotiating promotional deals, social media promotion, etc. Even though we've been constantly led on by the band, these things take time and a lot of hard work.
I firmly believe that they've had the songs ready to go at the start of this tour and are just biding their time until the US tour to play them out. My prediction is that they drop Perhaps in the next few weeks and take advantage of the hype to promote the tour.
