Can someone explain the bread thing? Did the guy throw a loaf onstage or did we see him eating it on the livestream? -

It's about 1:30pm in New York. They probably have to get there and take care of a couple of things before they actually do the soundcheck. They might be trying to get it done before the storms roll through too. -
With "The General" seemingly close....

I was surprised by State of Grace. The version we have still needs to be fleshed out a little more but it's got a good foundation. Atlas was disappointing though. I don't dislike it, it was just hyped up for years and fell short of my expectations. -

I remember people spamming 'unban Volcano' on a periscope feed during the Troubadour show

Oh for sure, I agree. I was talking more from the point in time of the reworked songs being finished or near finished. I guess I was just trying to illustrate that the release process for any major-label artist is not as simple as it may seem from the outside. That's for a release though, I'm astounded as to why they'd put it on the main setlist, soundcheck it and not play it.

In all honesty, this is probably what is holding it up. The artist has to record the song and then mix/master it, which takes a decent amount of time and endless correspondence between the artist and the engineer. Add a label on top of that and it takes even more time. Not to mention artwork, distribution, graphics/lighting for live performances, negotiating promotional deals, social media promotion, etc. Even though we've been constantly led on by the band, these things take time and a lot of hard work. I firmly believe that they've had the songs ready to go at the start of this tour and are just biding their time until the US tour to play them out. My prediction is that they drop Perhaps in the next few weeks and take advantage of the hype to promote the tour.
