Posting for my little slice of obsessive fan history!

Where is the video dude?

I was 14 and drunk, so was the audience who were all the same sort of age, we had a great time but I doubt the music was very good!

AFD, UYI I & II. Soundtrack of my existence from the age of 11-14.

His voice is tiring to listen to. The music sounds like it wouldn't have made the final cut of the record. Nice riff but very samey.

I said it's perfect! Tough call and a close one but Perfect Crime edges it for me.

First original Sound Of A Gun track since last year, this one is about creativity and loss. Sound Of A Gun is now two people instead of one and our new guy makes his debut with some stellar piano and orchestral work which takes centre stage in the "Alt" version of the track.
We have both really enjoyed making this track and hope others enjoy listening.
The will be up on the streaming services in a few days, but for now can be purchased from Bandcamp here:

Or streamed on Soundcloud here:

Just stumbled upon this post, Excellent work guys! This feels like it could have been on slash his solo album as a collaboration with Bon Jovi. Keep it up!
Hey thanks man, that track is one of my favourites! @lame ass securityand I also put together a weighty slice of dystopian synth rock:
I have been occupied with other things over the past few months but Billy is still putting out killer covers which he posts in this section and when I have my house in order I am sure we will put another one out!

Ay up! Antepliler's food is nice, but Baklava and Tulumba tatlısı is magnificent, I'm a Turk, and that's the only Turkish dessert shop I approve in UK
Never had the desserts to be fair!

Anyone looking for a good place to eat before the show should head to the Green Lanes and visit Antepliler: https://www.allinlondon.co.uk/restaurants/turkish/8445-antepliler, doesn't look much, but when I lived up the road in Turnpike Lane it was the only place we took people when they came down to visit us. The Lamachun and mixed grill are well worth travelling there for!

After last year's collaboration on "Move The Needle", @lame ass security and I regrouped earlier this year and began discussing lyrics he had written for this track. This one has truly been a labour of love, we have taken our time with this track on the road to release and are very happy with the results.
We are releasing this under the name Collison/Goodman as it stands alone as a collaboration and is the first of what I hope will be many. The track is now live on Bandcamp for those that would like to buy the song in a lossless format, if you would like to buy, you can find it here:
https://collisongoodman.bandcamp.com/releases
We have a Facebook page, which we would love you to follow or like:
https://www.facebook.com/CollisonGoodman
And finally an Instagram page which will be getting much more active in the coming weeks:
https://www.instagram.com/collisongoodman/
The song is in the process of being released on to Spotify, Apple Music etc. and I will update this thread when each one goes live. You can also have a listen on Soundcloud right here on the embed below:

His vocal "rasp" as it is called has dried up. Amazing he got that much out of it for so many years, but it seems that he is trying to pitch his vocals nowadays with no grit and the end result is just an odd falsetto sound that is at odds with the venom and fuck you attitude of the band in their 80s/90s heyday. I heard a couple of lines of Back In Black and it was horrendous. Breakdown would sound just as shit vocally.

JJF Electric - full on fucked up 80s GN'R with Axl in banshee from hell mode.

GN'R Version, every day of the week. I do like the Stones' original but those last few recordings of Guns (SI and this) were Axl on 100% form. I prefer the more dynamic vocal delivery and even enjoy the call and response solo! (sorry !)

Fuck you guys 🥺

I do love Estranged, but for me WTTJ is a masterpiece and clearly the winner. Great job with all of this @History2010, I have posted here more in the last few weeks than I have in the last few years, it has been fun!

Coma out of those three!

Patience, clear that it will be either WTTJ or Estranged winning so it is all good IMO.
-
Patience gets my vote out of this lot

Better gets my vote, TWAT is my favourite on this record.

Counterfeit Life - Out now on Spotify
in NICE BOYS DON'T PLAY ROCK N' ROLL

@lame ass security and I have worked on a couple of tracks over the past 18 months, both have been quite different stylistically , but form part of a trilogy lyrically. It is always interesting to work with Billy, we have spoken many, many times over email and on this site; I love his music and like everyone who listens to his work, think he has a voice that should be heard by the world. All that said, I never really know what the songs we create together are about! Hi lyrics are are always full of rich imagery and vivid motifs and whilst I have my own thoughts on what they mean, we never really go into detail on the meaning. In that way it is a unique chance to create as you are working on creating a musical background and and vocal melodies for something that is an unknown.
Anyway, enough of the rambling... Here we are today with the final part of the Trilogy - Counterfeit Life an upbeat rocker with a laid back guitar break in the middle, I got to use a riff I had been kicking around for year or two on this track and I am pleased it has finally found a home. Always a fucking pleasure to work with you Billy!
