Stress Fracture replied to downzy's topic in 2023 Tour Dates
It was suggested the last one was longer to make up for what happened there last year. Glasgow and London should be epic! -
Dave Grohl’s mother died last year as well so there’s also a lot about her. For instance, she was a teacher… I’m struggling to get on with the album. The mix/production is very fatiguing to my ears.
-
Twist after twist and My Michelle doesn’t even sound like a penultimate track
-
They might release Perhaps around Glastonbury as it’s the most media exposure they’ll get this tour.
-
First the pyro goes, now the horn gets downgraded.
-
Still no hats. Axl must be proud of his hair at the moment.
-
Has Axl worn the same outfit and no hats all night so far? This has got to be the time for a change.
-
It’s difficult to see any more surprises now. SCOM, November Rain, KOHD, Nightrain, Patience, Don’t Cry and Paradise City already make this a long show
-
That TIL end sounded like it was for Priscilla.
-
Maybe Slash will even take the solo seriously. It’s that kind of night.
-
If we get DOTF and New Rose at the same show, that might point to a 30th anniversary reissue of The Spaghetti Incident, which would surely lead to Since I Don’t Have You eventually getting added too.
-
This has basically been brought back for Glastonbury.
-
To be fair, Hard Skool sounds more like a first night effort from Axl. Fearing for YCBM.
-
They’ve got Melissa higher in the mix covering for some of Axl’s weaker moments here and it’s working.
-
Finally, decent audio.
-
Axl out of time. Had to happen.
-
Perhaps is probably the easiest CD era song for Axl to sing live.
-
I see THYME (New Rose) but that doesn’t make much sense. It’s definitely New Rose, though, and probably an intro like they did with You Can’t Put Your Arms Around a Memory.

Guns at Glastonbury confirmed
Stress Fracture replied to SilverMachine's topic in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS
This kind of confirms that they were just paying lip service when calling Lizzie a co-headliner because 1 hour isn’t a headline act. Anyway, 2h15m is a good length and what they should probably be doing at all shows now. They also get ten minutes more than Elton which is kind of wild given his formidable back catalogue. -
That was a good show/rehearsal. Josh fits in well and brings back a sense of urgency not truly seen since they became a stadium band. The breakdown in All My Life was killer. They also mentioned (in passing) that Dave plays drums on the album.
-
These are the first two tracks on the album so it’s shaping up to be their worst but here we are.

That would have been a perfect song for Ghost to cover. This faithful Maiden cover is just a waste of time.
