  1. To be fair, the guitar solo/overlay on the phone recording does sound pretty cool, though it would be awesome to hear what Slash has done with it.
  2. The vocals are too drowned out in the phone clip to make most of the last part legible, in my opinion (but I do recognise Evader's techno magic so maybe he's right). That aside, fuck knows how Axl is going to pull the vocals off if they do wheel it out live.
  3. Axl has always had vocal troubles, including blow outs in the 80s... That his vocals can be inconsistent and prone to highs and lows is nothing new. Having seen the NITL incarnation of GNR in 2017 and 2022, I think Axl sounded better in the former but still very powerful in the latter (despite the rigours of touring and aging). He may not reach all the rasp and high notes anymore, but his clean vocals still cut through in a live setting. In fact, i daresay his clean vocals are more powerful now than they have been over the last decade, so it seems he is still working on his performance.
  4. Everything else seems to line up too (in terms of font size/space ratio... It could be a fake someone made to look like that document on the soundboard, but man i really want it to be true.
  5. The font feels off to me somehow, and it is convenient that a setlist with that info came out a few days after the concert and info was known... Do we know if previous setlists had the dates + city in the footer? The thing that does it for me is that I really don't know why they would keep The General as the song's official name... It was clearly a working title, named after fast food if i recall correctly.
  6. If the Village Sessions hadn't leaked, Pele would have said we would only get Hardskool, Silkworms and Atlas (since these were publicly known previously). The point being that no one knew of Perhaps, State of Grace, Nothing, Eye on You, etc, until the Village Sessions were leaked. It is also possible, then, that Axl would have songs recorded later that could potentially be released.
  7. My only concern is that the Village session songs with vocals might be the only CD-era songs we get. Slash said there were about four more singles left to release. These could easily be Perhaps, SOG, Atlas and some reworked version of Eye on You or Nothing. Of course, I hope I am wrong and that we get The General, Soul Monster, Seven, etc, but this band does the bare minimum.
  8. The official shirts in Aus were utter shit, so I expect that to be the same globally. The shirt I got back in November ended up being printed crooked on a Gildan t-shirt, lol.
  9. I just don't think they care all too much about wide commercial success for these Chinese leftovers. I mean, Absurd being their first comeback single says as much... Their money comes from touring, and these releases only serve to give these legs a shot in the arm.
  10. I actually preferred Tommy Demo #1 from the Village Sessions. Going Down is good, but it is pretty boring in my opinion.
  11. GNR have two Linkfire accounts. Perhaps is not on either right now: https://gunsnroses.lnk.to/perhaps https://gnr.lnk.to/perhaps
  12. It was blurred, but still clear enough to make out a 'P' at the start and a 'PS' at the end. Filling in the rest of the word for Perhaps fits with what was on the list.
  13. Frank and Richard aren't going anywhere and can do more for the GNR catalogue than either Steven or Izzy can. In that respect, it comes down to what either can offer in a guest spot, and for me, Izzy takes the cake. We could get 14 Years, Dust N' Bones, etc.
  14. Good point. I do recall Slash saying that the next songs would be more epic or intricate than HS and Absurd, but that could easily fall into line for Perhaps or Atlas... Anything is more intricate than Absurd, and well, HS is just a simple rocker.
  15. I would hope that a few of those would be released, given Slash said the upcoming songs would be more 'epic'. I don't necessarily think Perhaps in its Village Sessions version is epic, but who knows how it evolved over the years.
  16. There are quite a few altered copies of Perhaps out there, including the one on YouTube right now (which has a removed lyric for 'now' in one of the choruses).
  17. I think it comes down to the fact that Axl's vocals can be inconsistent but still powerful when experienced live. For example, 2022 Axl wasn't as good as 2017 Axl, and this is blatantly obvious on recording. However, the concert I attended last year was great because he was still so powerful that even his clean vocals cut above everything and sounded strong.
  18. Looking at their previous YouTube posting schedules, they usually upload an individual video before a significant release. For example: Used to Love Her (live in Belgium) - July 2021 Absurd - August 2021 Paradise City with Dave Grohl - September 2021 Hardskool - September 2021 SCOM Dublin - July 2022 UYI Anniversary announced with YCBM - October 2022
  19. We've been too long without an official release from Guns N' Roses. In that time, we have been treated as a nuisance by the band's management for wanting new music, all the while hoarders collected hidden material. So let's raise one for The Chairman, who acquired the recent leaks and published them in full for common ears.
