  1. OK, there's still a GA area in front of the stage and like most "PIT" tickets they are the most expensive ticket. Really not sure what your point is. I mean you can pay $1600 for pit tickets for 6 bands that individually would cost at least $300 each (or more) for similar. Seems like a bargain to me actually.
  2. There is a GA pit in front of the stage as well.
  3. I did yes.....I went to both Deer Creek shows in 1991. Had lawn tickets with friends for the first show, was staying in Bloomington at IU that summer after my sophomore year. Got home at around 4:30 AM. Was so blown away by the first night's show, I headed back up there by myself and scalped a single in the lower level for a decent price after Skid Row started. Had more fun night 1 b/c I was wiht friends, wasn't 21, but had some older friends buying us beer, but those two shows were very impactful on me for sure.
  4. Saying someone "sold out" because they are getting market value for their services is quite possibly the stupidest thing I've heard in some time. Well done.
  5. I have a friend who contacted me and is working as an independent contractor for this event and was told to book housing for two weekends for this event. You can still find some reasonably priced hotel rates in the area for the second weekend, but I'd advise booking a refundable rate as I'm sure a second weekend may depend on how weekend one sells and how fast, etc.
  6. We said this after the last tour.....not sure how or why but people are making money off them not selling well in some stadiums apparently.
  7. Don't believe the term "opener" is appropriate as both bands on both nights are playing full sets, full production, etc......but it appears that Maiden would be playing first on Friday then GnR (usually the first band listed plays last on a given day/night).
  8. Or lower...the speculation is this will not sell as well as Desert Trip did and Desert Trip had a decent availability of tickets below face on the secondary market. This is purely a CYA thing....hey, we can raise or lower these prices based on demand and you don't get money back if we lower them and you already purchased type thing. Not saying I like it, but that is what this is here for if sales explode they can raise prices, if the demand isn't there they will lower prices and if you already purchased....FU
