  1. Would be really sad (but fitting for how this band treats their fans) if they screw Hershey over by not debuting a new song for them by one show AGAIN
  2. It would be a good thing to have but logically it will never happen and to be frank with you I think it’s kind of a useless thing to hope for with the state of this band. As long as Slash and Duff are back, anything with the CD guitarists as the prominent players won’t be released.
  3. I’ll be honest, I don’t really care about the timer if it doesn’t show up again. I think it’s safe to say that it’s coming Friday at this point no matter what. Granted I’ll say 95% just because this band is…this band.
  4. I like Eye on You. It’s something wacky and industrial but has an insanely catchy melody which I didn’t always find in NIN albums. A Slash and Duff guitar driven version could be super interesting but I doubt they want to touch it with a 10 foot pole, especially since the vocals have been pinched before.
  5. The only hope would be if Axl recorded a second verse since 99, but I kind of doubt it. It’s a real shame because I agree the repetitiveness hurts the song a lot, it’s essentially like listening to a 2 minute song back to back.
  6. I completey disagree. I really enjoy Perhaps. I think it’s a bit underbaked and needed a second verse which I don’t think will be in the final version. But it has all the makings of a good GNR song imo, I could see it as a UYI track.
  7. The Spotify stuff is only the sprinkles here. We already have it confirmed with the linkfire info anyways. Still exciting to see that it’s happening anyways.
  8. The original plan was to release singles until there was an albums worth. Maybe, intentionally or not, within the next decade that’ll be concluded.
  9. It’s a useless debate. Axl has no interest in recording new music. All we will ever possibly get is unreleased CD songs, and that’s that.
  10. Seemed like an album worth of singles was the original plan. Slash wanted singles to release until a full release could work. Sadly in future interviews he lowered his estimate down to 1-4 more songs.
  11. The Hard Skool mix was very embarassing. I love that song but it’s a disgrace compared to the rest of the discography quality wise. I’m hoping because this took two years they actually got their shit together with this mix.
  12. No one is there. No streams. Impossible to really say anything.
  13. CD does sound different but I think it’s an evolution that I deeply enjoy, and I don’t think we would’ve ever gotten there without the previous works. I think the only way CD could’ve been perceived as a masterpiece would have been if GNR disbanded and Axl released CD under his own name. It would have never been scrutinized nearly as much as it was. And the whole “this isn’t GNR” debate wouldn’t have mattered.
  14. The site clearly wasn’t ready. We have all the information we need to know about the single though, so don’t care.
  15. Yeah even me as a GNR-pessimist won’t panic if it’s not played for the shows this week. I wouldn’t expect it until the first show after the debut.
  16. One thing I’m worried about is the solo. Finck’s was a masterclass work of art. I was not impressed at all with Slash’s in the rehearsal clips. I really hope he flubbed it live and in the finalized version he wrote something better. Perhaps is the type of song Slash would’ve been amazing on in the 90’s, or even mid 2000’s (Messages and Loving the Alien come to mind) but now I’m concerned.
