  1. Early 2000’s for sure. Same exact voice as those early NuGNR shows
  2. I don’t really know what they do from here. We can assume it’s gonna be radio silence in 2024, and then 2025 they may do another “WERE FN BACK AGAIN” tour, but I think they’re gonna have to play arenas. I don’t think a new album is happening any time soon, so maybe just Atlas and something else EP with a few more deepcuts in the set.
  3. He said during the debut of Perhaps he doesn’t know how to sing it. I guess he must think it’s cool to admit to thousands of paying fans you didn’t practice.
  4. If we continued to get a few new songs and deepcuts every tour, I wouldn’t complain. But I do think they’ve hit a roadblock now and the casuals are going to continue to flee. I really don’t know where the band goes from here.
  5. I’ll say also between these two nights I’ve heard a lot of people pointing out Axl’s vocals, more than I’ve heard in person ever. People laughing, pointing out the falsetto, overheard someone saying “im here for Slash, he actually delivered”. Never really heard that kind of talk from the casuals before. Could just be coincidence but interesting to point out.
  6. I can’t believe I witnessed The General’s debut live. Hearing “this is a new song” in person after hearing it 100’s of times on RIR 2001 over the years…fucking goosebumps. Rest of the show was kinda whatever but still fun. Axl seemed to have burnt himself out from back to back nights. No YCBM, no Hard Skool, no Anything Goes, no Down on the Farm, or Reckless. Since I saw both nights though I really feel I got the best of both worlds. I feel immensely lucky.
  7. I don’t expect them to play it for what it’s worth. But it’s a convenient excuse to go again when I was thinking about it all day anyways
  8. Impulsively bought a $30 ticket for tonight haha, riding the Uber right now.
  9. Can the people who said The General was a leaked track from 2006 please log on and apologize for spreading misinformation?
  10. Great show. Had a blast. Locomotive was a fantastic surprise. Can’t complain about getting to hear Madagascar and SOD either!
  11. LA Traffic is the absolute worst. Was 60 minutes to go 25 miles for me.
  12. Coma16 has always posted vague mumblings. He is not an insider to the best of our knowledge. As of right now, there is no reason to assume a line up change is imminent.
  13. I’m not saying you have any reason to lie at all. I apologize if it came off that way. However, more people than not who also had no reason to lie are saying in mass that it’s Slash, versus a handful of people who disagree, so it’s easier to trust the majority opinion here. If you’re right, you’re right, but I’m not seeing the proof currently. But I will at least say if you’re correct about the quality then it’s an internal leaker and not a vinyl rip.
  14. Well, maybe then it’s someone who got the NITL mixes. There are many people, multiple who are musicians and guitarists, saying they swear on their life and are 1000% sure it’s Slash, etc. I’m inclined to believe them because these are users who have been around awhile and have no real reason to lie. And it doesn’t sound like any other CD guitarist to me. Not Finck, not Bucket, definitely not Bumble or Ashba. Besides maybe the end of Monsters which is probably Fortus. If it’s not Slash, which it’s pretty clear it is, then who?
  15. Where’s the post about the meta data being in 2006? Also, one thing I feel is if it wasn’t two songs on one side, why would the vinyl been delayed? It seems clear to me it was a mistake of having 2 songs on one side without realizing how it would compromise the quality. They released other Vinyl no problem. That and the “The General and Monsters” submission to music databases and people seem very convinced it’s Slash.
  16. I’m surprised how much disagreement and theories are floating out there. It’s pretty clear to me. Both will be on the vinyl, if it was registered as one song on the song databases. It’s not like one just appeared out of nowhere. Also, how would anyone get access to NITL mixes? I wonder if GNR fans, now that the “holy grail” has leaked, need to find something to theorize and discuss to death since there’s nothing else we can really do it about now.
  17. Going Down is a great song in my opinion. I really enjoy it, something about it has always mesmerized me. It’s really sad that it’s just gonna die to history, but as others do I’ll always put it in my CDII playlist, as it’s basically a completed song.
  18. It’s funny because in retrospect the cellphone clip of “The General” matched the Soul Monster description by Axl quite a bit. I think it goes to show there’s probably a lot that we don’t know about. Also, sorry if anyone posted it already, but there’s a lyrics in Monsters: “You stole my soul with the devil's Romancing” To me that confirmed this is Soul Monster (along with all these additional facts). A big theme in Chinese are song titles loosely or barely verbalized to the song- This I Love, Scraped, Atlas Shrugged, Madgascar. It’s already a lot of coincidence to have a song named Monsters as is, but the word soul in the lyrics seals the deal for me.
  19. Blackstar says “ruined for him”, and it most definitely did, I can’t imagine the band and TB aren’t fuming at the ears over this leak.
  20. Bought a $50 cheapo ticket the other night since I enjoyed The General/Monsters and was in a GNR mood. Dreading parking but excited to see them again.
  21. It’s funny to me so many people believe it’s not Slash on these songs. I was unsure at first but after many listens and trusting opinions it has to be. Which is impressive in its own way to me. In my opinion, this is really the first Axl and Slash magic since the 90’s. I can tell Slash actually really cared and felt passion on this song which I didn’t really feel on Perhaps or the other NITL songs even if I still love all 3.
