I don't think the next Terminator will be a good movie. Unless the band is ok with releasing a new stuff in a average flick, I think they should focus on get a new song in something more popular nowadays, like a Netflix or HBO series.

Even if it is a bad movie it will be an instant throw back to the 90's which suits gunners & it will also gross a zillion $

Same here and that was 25 years ago!!!!

I am actually surprised they never played Hair Of The Dog love.. It was a great cover. It used to get a decent amount of airplay where i live too.

Only airplay in Australia was Since I Don't Have You which is in the bottom 3 tracks on the album IMO. I remember a black & white commercial promoting the release with a snippet of Hair of The Dog showing Axl live on an outdoor stage which I thought was weird at the time as it was sung live maybe 3 times but never on UYI tour. Great song.

  3. Didn't Fortus say 'big things & new music for 2016' ?

We got an awesome tour & Shadow released this year so off the mark but close enough.

Slash tours solo until at least July 2019 & hates to stop touring so I'm backing a single late August/September with the new album on 23/11 which is the same release date as Spaghetti & Democracy. Tour to commence straight after Slash gets home & the single is released.

I love Slash, but he's low on the list of greatest guitarists. Slash was the person that got me to pick up a guitar in the first place, so he has a special place in my heart... but let's me honest, he's not done anything jaw-dropping in a long., long time. I know some would argue about Anastasia etc. but I just hear a guitar player noodling over a backing track playing some vague harmonic minor/blues lines... not that far removed from anything else he's ever done. Slash up until the end of the first VR cycle was great, I don't really know if he's that great anymore though.

I honestly prefer Richard.... and I KNOW! Richard hasn't written songs as good as Slash! I'm just talking about feel, note choices, and consistency.

    You're kidding right?

He really hasn't been doing the hat thing onstage for 30 years.  There were a few exceptions but he  hardly ever used to wear it on stage with Guns besides Paradise City during the Illusions tours.  Even in VR it wasn't until the Libertad tour that he started wearing it more.  It just seems a little cheesy and cliche to me to wear it stapled to his head all the time on stage.  He is obviously covering his hair but I just think the backwards ball cap works for that.  Just one jagoffs opinion ;)

I respect you and relate to your posts as well.  Bro hug

Agree, hardly worn in UYI era & noticed it more in Appetite videos but not live. I thought he may have been contracted to wear it this tour?

I respect your opinion but I couldn't disagree more. I love Slash and wanted to love this album like I did everything else he has done but this one is different. I didn't find it diverse at all.  I found it very boring and it really does all sound the same.  This is mostly due to Myles... Easily my least favorite album Slash has ever been on.  I listened on my laptop and Echo a bunch of times but when the CD came in the mail from Amazon I never even opened the package.  From what I have heard I actually like the Monsters soundtrack thing much more and I am bummed that I cannot buy a physical copy of it.

Always respected your opinion on this forum Tom-Ass but this was easily the best one IMO (I am excluding 2010 as it's a solo record) & if I am correct the only one with a proper ballad. I even felt it had a little Axl about it.
