Is it old news that 4 members had private screening for new Terminator film to depict what track & when in the film it will be used? Move to a new thread if needed

Yeah I don’t see Silkworms, Going Down, or OMG ever making it onto a record at this point, which is fine imo. Make room for other songs!
Then why all the talk about Hardschool & Atlas? These are songs from decades ago. If the new album has guitar parts from anyone but Slash, Richard or Duff I will be pissed.

officially? never.
That's what I thought. I just noticed it in this listing

I'm sure I'm way behind the 8-ball but when was it confirmed that AFD DSE had new parts added by the NITL line-up?
-
Silkworms is a Dizzy song just like Tommy & BBF had their tracks. Can't see it ever being on an album, lyrics are too weird. Played live back in the day, that's it. OMG similar, was on a soundtrack then played live, just a moment in time never to be repeated.

"Hold Still" at the end of Down on the Farm

What did Ides of March become?

They used to play Ain't It Fun a bit around here too.
Great track. Maybe played once here on radio which was an Edit anyway, same as Chinese Democracy & Shadow, when released played a few times then they vanish, I guess radio wants another Sweet Child.

Same here and that was 25 years ago!!!!
I am actually surprised they never played Hair Of The Dog love.. It was a great cover. It used to get a decent amount of airplay where i live too.
Only airplay in Australia was Since I Don't Have You which is in the bottom 3 tracks on the album IMO. I remember a black & white commercial promoting the release with a snippet of Hair of The Dog showing Axl live on an outdoor stage which I thought was weird at the time as it was sung live maybe 3 times but never on UYI tour. Great song.

Loved it then & still love it now. Underrated. Hair of The Dog & The Game for me.

I saw them live in 2007 & his voice was raspy & awesome. Especially on IRS & Madagascar.

It's because Axl is jumping around like a Turkey in the first shot making fun of Izzy. Lot's of tension/drugs/alcohol/fatigue/stress at that time I'm sure. Izzy couldn't handle it then & he doesn't want to handle it now. Izzy simply never accepted the fame.

I still feel the 1st April fools show should be released as a single album kind of like Slash's night at the Roxy.

1. All Slash's albums (SP, VR & MK&C)
2. Duff - Believe in Me
That's It.
Pawnshop was OK & I haven't given Loaded or Izzy enough time outside of the first Ju Ju album.
Everyone else is bargain bin.
Only DJ credit I like is that Saint's of Los Angeles was good.

Didn't Fortus say 'big things & new music for 2016' ?
We got an awesome tour & Shadow released this year so off the mark but close enough.
Slash tours solo until at least July 2019 & hates to stop touring so I'm backing a single late August/September with the new album on 23/11 which is the same release date as Spaghetti & Democracy. Tour to commence straight after Slash gets home & the single is released.

There is a Fish n' Chip shop in Alexandra in country Victoria which has one in mint condition, original from the 90's. He has said make him an offer but I haven't got around to it. Here they are worth anywhere between 6k & 10k depending on the condition.

Richard was thinking, "If I stick this out maybe one day I'll get to play with Slash!"

I love Slash, but he's low on the list of greatest guitarists. Slash was the person that got me to pick up a guitar in the first place, so he has a special place in my heart... but let's me honest, he's not done anything jaw-dropping in a long., long time. I know some would argue about Anastasia etc. but I just hear a guitar player noodling over a backing track playing some vague harmonic minor/blues lines... not that far removed from anything else he's ever done. Slash up until the end of the first VR cycle was great, I don't really know if he's that great anymore though.
I honestly prefer Richard.... and I KNOW! Richard hasn't written songs as good as Slash! I'm just talking about feel, note choices, and consistency.
You're kidding right?

He really hasn't been doing the hat thing onstage for 30 years. There were a few exceptions but he hardly ever used to wear it on stage with Guns besides Paradise City during the Illusions tours. Even in VR it wasn't until the Libertad tour that he started wearing it more. It just seems a little cheesy and cliche to me to wear it stapled to his head all the time on stage. He is obviously covering his hair but I just think the backwards ball cap works for that. Just one jagoffs opinion
I respect you and relate to your posts as well. Bro hug
Agree, hardly worn in UYI era & noticed it more in Appetite videos but not live. I thought he may have been contracted to wear it this tour?

I respect your opinion but I couldn't disagree more. I love Slash and wanted to love this album like I did everything else he has done but this one is different. I didn't find it diverse at all. I found it very boring and it really does all sound the same. This is mostly due to Myles... Easily my least favorite album Slash has ever been on. I listened on my laptop and Echo a bunch of times but when the CD came in the mail from Amazon I never even opened the package. From what I have heard I actually like the Monsters soundtrack thing much more and I am bummed that I cannot buy a physical copy of it.
Always respected your opinion on this forum Tom-Ass but this was easily the best one IMO (I am excluding 2010 as it's a solo record) & if I am correct the only one with a proper ballad. I even felt it had a little Axl about it.

Serve you right, I can't wait to see Todd Kerns live on this song, it has his style written all over it

I'm expecting Axl to warm up with this one. First shows after a break are always challenging for his voice.

As we can consider this an official AFD & Lies collaborative Box Set, it still bothers me that OIAM is missing. Everything else claimed missing was never officially released.

Maybe being saved for the Use your Illusion boxset?
Thought that too but surely that would apply to Back off & November Rain? Hope your right though

Even if it is a bad movie it will be an instant throw back to the 90's which suits gunners & it will also gross a zillion $
