Interesting that Todd is singing Nightrain instead of Myles.
Myles is getting smarter as he gets older. Why blow out his voice singing a cover?

The main talk box riff on C’est had me excited but the rest sounds like the typical boring stuff they’ve been putting out lately
-
Woah there was a T3 -T6
when did that happen

I was able to watch it because I had it open before it got taken down. There was new music playing in the background. Nothing that stood out as being good imo
-
I thought it sounded good in my car.
very thin on my phone without headphones

Sounds like one of my favorite early Motley Crue unreleased songs “Stick to your guns”
and I’m pretty sure Slash is a fan of that song. I know he loves their first record Too fast for love

Omg that sounds amazing. Now I’m officially excited!

In the most recent clips I've seen of him playing live he looks like he's on a heavy dose of anti-depressants. His mannerisms and facial expressions aren't nearly as vibrant as they were compared to only a few years ago. I'm sure part of it is just getting older but at the same time I've also been taking mental health medications for many years so I can spot it from a mile away. In the video below he has that very dulled out look on his face. I hope he's doing ok but knowing his history he's probably taking being left out of GNR pretty hard.
You’re probably right. He’s been unusually quiet lately. Poor guy😕Better that than back on smack tho

With Micks attitude towards putting out factual information you can easily see why Axl hated him

Maybe next time, whoever the author is, a fan that has read the book can point out the flaws and submit questions ahead of time. Like when the interview is first announced

^ yup like you said in the other thread. This video is a perfect tutorial of how NOT to record an album LOL

The absurd reviews were mostly positive which to me just means some were making money and protecting a brand

Yea but prior to Driving Rain Slash’s singles were always at least decent with a chance of garnering interest from newer casual rock fans. Like You’re a lie. Not the best song on A.L. But a great song and successful single. Still gets the crowd going when they play it.
I doubt these 3 singles will resonate with anyone new or old. Hopefully this 4th single will and whatever other singles follow will

Hoping this is slash going with a more untraditional approach in releasing a new album. Fillers first then the big guns as the album release date approaches. Followed by more big guns to keep the new album buzz going.
Maybe that is gnr’s approach after releasing absurd and HS.

Got another song preview here.
Finally!!!!
mans the production sounds great on this one! How is that possible?!
-
Wow these comments! I really hope Slash or someone in his camp is reading these
-
Maybe it’s just cheaper to record live. Every penny counts when going thru an ugly divorce
-
You would think at the very least we’d be able to hear the guitar cutting thru properly
-
Better.
awful production.

This made me go back and listen to Read Between the Lines. I put it right up there with Slash’s best. Perfectly crafted song amazing solo and breakdown and Myles sounds great
