I have said it before and I will say it again, I get if people prefer the CD era guitarists more on CD era stuff, but some of the negative assessments Slash as a guitar player since 2016 gets both on the released studio stuff and CD era stuff I find to be very overdramatic - and overall have found his takes enjoyable.

Things like his Perhaps solo or the live Better solo I find fine and don't think the hate matches what he is actually doing but that's just me :shrugs:

We might not be on the same page with my 2nd statement below,

but these are the same people who probably never complained when finck was altering the november rain solo

which to me sounds like he butchered that.

It must be painful for Axl, who has probably painstakingly perfected these songs over decades, to have Slash shit out guitar work and paste them into the mixes. Maybe Axl cares less, because he has the golden mixes with Buckethead and Robin slated for a special release, or just for his own personal enjoyment.

Yeah, the asshole keeps on releasing tracks that has Slash on it who has the audacity to tour with the band since 2016! Grrrrr! It pisses me off when a band don't release songs that feature guitarists who has quit for more than a decade ago!

PS Where's Ashba when you need him!

    Is it?!

Attention seekers making wide eyed, over the top, exaggerated reactions serves what purpose? I'm utterly confused as to why anyone would spend any time watching that sort of thing.

    Enlighten me!

As much attention they're seeking, the band/song is also getting attention from people who might not be in the reach of the band recently. For them to see that GN'R has a new song out, I think it gives the song more recognition to the "non-diehards".

Think of an old neighbor who used to rock in their younger days or kids who have heard of gn'r or saw them in shirts, and they see "Guns N' Roses - Perhaps, New Song Reaction!" on youtube.

It could either be good and bad, but it brings eyes and ears to the band.

PS. I don't give a flying f*** about how they overly react in their videos though, I'm after how these randos think of the band's sound. Like do they think like us here in mygnr or do they try to play it cool like they're expert music critics (I usually stop watching when they try to act cool... perhaps they're being too hard skool (pun intended)).
