  1. Work got in the way of me making  it in time to see Maiden or Guns. The group I was with were all pretty beat from traveling to get there and said the vibe was kind of off for both bands. The people I met at festival it seemed like the general consensus was that Axl had a really rough night .I believe the highlight for most was AC/DC they definitely drew the best response and their set was very high energy .Got down to the pit for Metallica and they were their usual spectacular selves .Judas Priest was the surprise for me and they absolutely nailed their set .Tool sounded fantastic and their show would be epic in an arena especially the new one in Vegas but their set didn’t seem to go over too well with the masses.Bummed I missed 2 of my favorites on Friday but I think this weekend belonged to AC/DC and was about their triumphant return to the stage .If I had to be honest as fire as their set was I’ve never heard AXL “struggle “ as bad as Brian Johnson did Saturday and I’ve seen Guns double digit times spanning over 3 decades and he didn’t  seem to get the flak that Axl always seems to get for his performances.I mean Johnson is in his mid 70’s still sounded good enough to my ears but just kind of throwing that out there

  2. Just saw Pearl Jam this past Saturday in LA.Great set list with some new ,some classics a couple ones they don’t play so often and actually prefer the 2.5 hours vs the 3 plus hours us fans have kind become accustomed to over this last decade .My personal favorite live band

Hard Skool  is a great song to run to.  I usually like to listen to it around mile six. I do expect more and from GNR…I hope they can stretch themselves creatively more the Absurd and Hard Skool. They are fucking millionaires because of us after all.

Can’t go as far as you anymore 5 mile max guy as I approach 50 but definitely in my run playlist

I had thought about going this past weekend since Sleater Kinney and Margo Price were there as well but ultimately didn't end up making the trip. Did you catch either of them play?

I caught most of Sleater Kinney and while not familiar with most of their material I enjoyed their set.The one who I was really impressed by was Brandi Carlile.I caught just the tail end of her set the previous week but all of her set this past Saturday.

  5. Ohana Encore last night.Pearl Jam headlined again seen them last week as well.Had tickets to see them at an arena show and the first weekend of Ohana prior to Covid.Felt great to be on the beach listening to my favorite live band after a long year and a half wait

  6. Pearl Jam at Ohana.Caught bits and pieces of other artists but was mainly there for PJ.Not a huge fan of festivals but PJ is my all time fave live artist and they were great as usual. Being  a festival and the time constraints that come with such ,a bit shorter set then accustomed to from them.Going again next Saturday

  7. Foo Fighters last night in LA.Always a good time with the Foo Fighters.Trip though how Dave Grohl is so far out front and his band mates stand so much further back on stage. They sounded great and of course Grohl knows how to have a good time and get the crowd going

For those going tonight hope u have fun.If u are looking for a spot to grab a bite and or a drink ,the fields right next door is a cool spot. You’ll literally be at the stadium entrance in a minute.Haven’t been there since covid so I’m not 100 percent sure they are open but since most restaurants and bars are now would assume they are as well

Never mind.I checked online they are permanently closed.Another covid casualty

If they are going to slash (apologies for the pun) ticket prices for this show, what time today do you guys think that will happen?  I’m on the fence about going.

Idk if they are going to go any lower. Not as many left as their was with other shows on day fo show.If u go to Ticketmaster and look at map theirs isn’t a ton of seats left

Question...and I'm not trolling.  Are they giving a refund if you purchased your ticket prior to this announcement b/c they have changed the terms of the agreement after the fact.  So, they have to give a refund I believe if someone requests OR if someone isn't vaccinated and tests positive at time of entry as the ticket was not sold on that condition.

I think that’s a great question I don’t know the answer to that.I seen an article on it this morning and in it their was no mention of refunds

I keep hearing this said so I have to ask. Was your understanding at any point that it wasn't possible for vaccinated people to contract and transmit the virus?

It was my understanding in the beginning of the vaccine rollout that is was highly unlikely for vaccinated people to catch or transmit the virus.Masks mandates were lifted here in California as recently as a couple of months ago for those who were vaccinated.Since then those mandates have been put back in place as their is now ample prove that those who are vaccinated can catch and transmit the virus.I know numerous vaccinated people who have been infected with covid.I just got off the phone with my uncle yesterday who has covid.my aunt went to Florida (vaccinated ) to visit my cousin got infected and now my Uncle who was home is also infected. This is just one example numerous people I know here in town are or have been infected since being fully vaccinated. My point in my earlier post was the we shouldn’t vilify people who choose not to be vaccinated. While yes mRNA has been tested for a long time it has never been used in such a wide scale on humans ever. The vaccine may be affective now but none of us know what the long term effects are or if their are any to pretend otherwise is simply wrong as it is not possible.I got vaccinated I have a son who has a rare severe form of epilepsy whom I care for who is considered high risk of complications from covid and I know quite a few people who have died and some who are 3-4 months out and still feel awful.Covid is an awful disease and we seem to have the antidote for it so I went for it but those to dont I understand their position. To me to make someone put something in their body that has not survived the test of time (vaccines normally take 5-10 years to go through rigorous studies /testing ) before they get to general public is wrong in my opinion.Again this is my opinion it’s not a right or wrong statement. It’s just my personal opinion and I feel if I knew I got covid I never ever would’ve taken the vaccine and theirs quite a few people who have.So at this point you’re asking someone to get the vaccine to attend events and in reality that someone may not benefit much from it as he/she has natural immunity.Yes I know you can catch it again just like you can still get it when your vaccinated but theirs obviously a level of protection  from it.

  13. I don’t understand why people get so upset at others who either get the vaccine or don’t.It’s now been proven that the vaccinated can and do transmit the virus.People who choose to not get vaccinated have their personal reasons for not getting vaccinated and we should respect that.I know of quite a few people who are vaccinated and got covid and got quite sick one is currently on a ventilator.A good friend of mine is currently also on a ventilator and was not vaccinated.I believe that the benefits of the vaccine outweigh the possible side effects or the threat of the the unknown  so I got the shot but realistically we don’t know much about these new type of mrna vaccines long term.Your body, your choice let’s not blame the unvaccinated for being the only ones who are transmitting the virus because that narrative simply is not true.As far as proving vaccination status I believe that is unfair as we cannot say with 100 percent certainty that these vaccines are absolutely safe and also many people have natural immunity which has proven to be far superior in terms of protection
