It should be named Bad Solos…WTH has happened to Slash’s playing, my god

I went to see SMKC yesterday for the first time and I must say, man what a band. They sound really REALLY good. Myles is a beast as a singer, he sounds EXACTLY as the recorded songs. He is pretty static and IMO lacks the rocking edge I love about Axl or any of the great singers/frontmans out there. Slash...well, he gets the show going, we all love him with all our hearts, I get goosebumps just looking at him on a stage. But his lead playing was really a let down. I've been saying this for a long time now, but all the extended solos go nowhere melody wise...he seems to be trying to prove he can play fast licks that have nothing to do with the song that's playing. He even fucked up the Fill My World solo... He is great on rythm though...but it's a big let down how he got worse and worse in comparison with his former self. This is MY opinion and I'm just sharing it. He'll always be my favorite guitar player, and in studio he still is the best as well...dont know what's happening live, it may be the energy of the show or whatever, who known? Great show overall.

WTF is that solo on Dont Damn me?! It should be ilegal to do this to that absolutely perfect recorded solo on the UYI. I love live playing and what Slash used to add to his songs…but this was just awful

I really think TG video is bad…not only for the animation itself, but its a mesa of imagery. Its hard to understand whats happening. Is it only me?

This song is fantastic,,,it was worth the wait and I'm eager to listen to the final version or a better mixed one because the leaked one sounds like a mess in some parts. This it Axl's genious and artistry in a nutshell. What a talented motherfker...and man, those voices...I would give one leg for a documentary showing Axl's recording sessions...

The chorus of “The General” is a fucking beasttt absolutely brutal…and the bridge of Monster too… Its just one song and I can get why anyone would reference Estranged…in the way they seem like 2 very clear different parts of the song. Thats the only similarity and Man, I think this stands for itself. It definetely sounds like a movie song or concept disc song a lá The Wall or Crimson Idol
