People really want this Axl on live record?!! Im a HUGE Axl fan but his live performances cant be published…come on guys!!! I would spend good money on 87-93 live performances and even 2002/2006 but the rest doesnt do Axls legacy justice

He sounds awful in the verses and pretty good at the end… Definetly should change his style in the verses, sounds laughable really

I dont like Slashs playing live that much but I think the studio version may be much MUCH better. Certainly hope so. I like Perhaps as a song mainly because for me Axl acknoledges some of his past trademarks "iaiaaaissss" which I miss mainly since the 2001 onwards versions of KOHD where he didnt sing them no more. Besides, I love Axls lower voice but I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE some more rasp in the chorus

They are the exact same vocals from the leaks...and I think thats OK since they are great. I little bit of more rasp like the AI Axl in Youtube would make it even better...but I dont think Axl could top this vocals nowadays

I completely understand my friend...I always try to look at the good positive things in the GnR world, especially if I'm talking to a non fan... But here, I feel better to criticize the weak points because we are all fans hahaha

That's true but do you honestly think that the Axl's singing negative reviews are unjustified??? Do you honestly think he sounds good apart from the low range??? I wouldnt even rate it as passable...We fans got used to it and are not horrified anymore...but any casual who wants or pretends to listen to something remotely close to the old Axl, will laugh at his new standart, and its reasonable.

Axl is my biggest idol...but isnt it strange that he was only inaudible whenever he switched to his mid/higger register??? Come on guys, it's just that his voice is weak, the Mickey is there and not even close to 2001/2 standarts when it sounded stong and good. He sang PTU perfectly except for "crack the whip cause that bitch..." and "time went by and it all went up in smoke"... I said this plenty of times and I'll say it again...Axl will sound good in studio no matter what, but his live singing except for the lower register songs which sound absolutely great, is painful to listen to, and anything except professional. Just imagine any other singer with that voice, you would laugh at it, let face it

Its undeniable that Axl cant sing anymore in the mid register. He sounds GREAT in his lower one He sounds ABSOLUTELY ATROCIUOS in the mid register and weak in most of the higher register There are times that he isnt even audible, and lets face it, it isnt due to technical issues. Just listen to PTU and you realize everything sounds good except for the mid range parts It is what it is…we as fans got used to it but any other singer sounding like this would be butchered. I enjoy seeing him happy and energic, it makes me very happy Lets hope for new music and great studio vocals

You are right, we still have this guys and they are performing together which is what many of us dreamnt for a LONG time. I've always believed Axl was the most legendary member of GnR and the one who will be remembered for the rest of mankind in the music world,and I still believe that...however Slash will also live forever in the music world. He is an icon not only for his music but also for his look. Love this guys and Izzy, Duff, Steven and Matt. The rest of them...I just dont care about them. I love some of Bucket songs though, he is a guitar beast.

Compare Slashs performance during the whole Paris 92 or Tokyo 92 to any show of the reunion Night and day He even flops during Yesterdays solo nowadays. Its unbelievable

THAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK YOU SO MUCH I thought i was alone on this...Slash is playing horrible live nowadays... He looses the melody path, he butchers his original solos, he butchers whatever he plays on Chinese stuff. I dont know what happened to him, but his fast playing is so far away from the player he used to be and the one who made me fall in love with his guitar playing. Its sad... I do think that eh still preserves his chops in studio...there are a lot of solos from his solo records that remain true to the 90's Slash, being Wicked Stone, Stone Grind, The One You Loved is Gone and Anastasia the clearest examples.
