‘Road to nowhere ‘ was and is my favorite ozzy and zakk collaboration ( I was 18 and had life to go)!!!

Matt could hold a good monstrous beat , but he couldn’t swing from a chandelier , what u newbies don’t get is , GNR was built on brotherhood , musical abilities , and a strong belief in working together,

Steven looked and sounded awesome at farm aid , Duff went over to him to jam with him and get on the same tempo as bass and drums do in every great band, video doesn’t lie, Steven was playing with great skill and enthusiasm, and dare I say confidence( Gnr really needed to do more warm up shows like farm aid to keep everyone on the same page)

Having said that, I went back and discovered all the live shows they did in 87-93 era and it definitely helped, knowing all the hard work on the road they did still pays off today , because they captured themselves in their prime and hav a shitload of content to boot( no two shows were the same, they fed each night off the crowds)

I was 25 2001 and rio just happened, they played new songs and my brother and I thought ‘oh well it’s not gnr we knew but at least an album of new music is gonna come soon 🙄, we both learned our lesson then as it took 8 years to finally be released to golf claps by the general public, never again ☹️

Sorry if this is out of place but it does relate to upcoming euro tour, just my dream, but it would be nice if axl could start off playing ‘its alright ‘ before NR, then rest of band kicks in and finishes the cover, love that song only because axl put it out with its own track on the live era, he threw us fans a bone when he knew nothing would be coming out for a long while,’95? till 2008, and I love him for it, also would love to hear band and axl cover ‘love hurts’ By Nazareth or ‘starlight? /lovin time’ after all this dudes voice was what helped shape axl’s voice, said by the man many times

The band imploded and Steven was the first casualty, Izzy saw it happening and was smart enough to know that it was the beginning of the end and being a loyal motherfucker he bowed out, think about it, if Steven wasn’t sacked then Izzy probably would not hav quit( he loved the band as much as everyone else ) I will say this , I’ve never had that kind of fame and pressure in my life nor would I have wanted it, so we as hardcore fans can only truly speculate , and once again because of this beautiful place that’s exactly what we can do to deal with this ( no other fans have come close to what we have gone through, I love all of u. 😎

Go watch the video Holmes, duff didn’t clap shit to Steven , he kicks off the song on his own bad ass self, and every hit on drums he made for those two songs were spot fuckin’ on!  As said above me , he was kicked out for a number of reasons, but one they claimed was his performance, which is bulllllshit!

I know what I hear with my ears , and he ( Steven) has a lot of talent , but his habits and his aloofnes overall hurt his career, and he made it look easy , go listen to the ‘japanese Experiment ‘’ you can hear Steven in his prime really clear, up above me , sorry , agree to disagree respectfully 

I would like to point out that the band said Steven could not play and was “0ut of it” while recording illusions, however, when they took a break from recording 89-90?, they played ‘farm aid’ and that band never sounded tighter, Steven in particular sounded awesome, I get upset and sad every time I watch the farm aid two song set( in someone’s book they even make it a point to say Steven didn’t know the song ‘down on the farm’ and winged it,( if that is the case he is the greatest drummer of all time,( with respect to John bonham), I never believe just rumors , get the facts,ie, good quality video and judge for myself, the truth is in the middle, gnr at that time could afford the best legal team around and they chose to settle instead of fighting for what was right for them ( very telling)

Fiirst : there will never be another axl Rose; second , he left his family, brother and sister, to risk everything for his dream of being a rock n roll singer, not only did he endure homelessness and shitty living conditions ; he never gave up! It was like his tattoo said ‘victory or death’ , was and is an inspiration, I was told by youth group leaders and church goers and friends and parents, that people in rock n roll did drugs and were evil, especially him, at the time I believed it , but in high school he stood out to me, and I was told by smart people to never judge someone by what people say or what u hear , but by learning the truth for yourself , I’m glad I didn’t judge him until I was an adult( I was confused , how could someone’s music be so positive yet everyone said he was bad , people forget about their perceived reputation, it was horrible , in 88’) also the same could be said about the original band, they were driven, possessed muscly , and I love them all🤟👍🎩

All hail ‘Bucket’, saw him in 2002-04? In cincy. Awesome show and brain was on drums and primus  dude was on bass, saw bootsy Collins peak out from behind curtain( magical night and the crowd was intense)

Gnr have re-established themselves, and to be apart for those many years and still pull off what they have done is amazing! I not only hope for an album, I expect it. Axl, slash, duff and ‘all’ the band members have always been my Rocky, my bugs bunny / three stooges marathon on a Friday night after grade school hell, they have all the money one man could need and they still said ‘ fuck yeah’!! That’s the spirit and attitude that the band was founded on, they may not call themselves ‘proffesionals’ but dammit I will , I believe now more than ever!! We got Star Wars next month and come spring the boys are still gonna be touring ( that is a major sign to me , a true believer , like all of my great and passionate board members , who kept me up when I wanted to be down and lost hope, like Princess Leia said “ Hope is all we hav/ had, had a bad week at work ( lost a co - worker ) thank u guys , and gnr family🤒

Steven was a part of that unpredictable 'bad-ass' swagger that made up the band ( all 5 of them had it, many of the books I own on them always had them coming off as brothers and a gang, their musical talent on top of all that made them 'legend' , if Batman were a band he would be 'Guns n Roses' ( sorry dudes I'm super excited!)

Also would be cool move if Howard introduced the band( he's been a big fan from the beginning )

NovemberComa, he did look silly but in his defense, for not knowing the song that well( allegedly), he nailed the fuck out of CW, and DOTF,   'What Would Have Been'  is a sentiment felt by the hardest of true 'gnr' fans, also would make a cool song title ?
