Do they have a written setlist this year? These shows seem to be ISE, BO, CD, Slither and then Mr. B. Jungle, HS, PTU etc in a seemingly random order
-
Wonder why the hell they barely play Don't Cry this year

Kinda weird to have an upbeat warm-hearted video for a song with depressing lyrics and style lol

Sebastian Bach in 2007:
one of my favorite songs is this song called "The General", which is so… it's by far the heaviest metal tune I think Ι've ever heard Axl do, this slow, grinding riff with these high, piercing vocals, screaming vocals. I was like, "When is this coming out?" And he said, "2012." I was like, "Dude, you're killin' me!" He goes, "Well, this comes out on the third record. It relates to this song, it's a trilogy, this goes with this lyrically." He's got it all figured out, he's just different than other people. He does things on his own time, in his own way, but you know... the world's not prepared for what I've heard from this guy. It's got the grandness and the epicness of "November Rain" but with the snarl, the attitude of "Appetite".

The day The General is released

Oh man when The General finally leaks it's going to be an amazing evening.

Wish Slash had the balls to tell Axl they either release/record stuff or he's out again. He's the only one in the band who could stand to him, Axl knows without him again he's fucked.

What if Axl and Slash in the studio before Glastonbury recently was about Axl recording vocals for the Slash album?? Maybe that's why Slash looked happy and the ginger looked miserable.
It's sad but it would be very exciting to hear Axl lyrics and vocals on a Slash album.

A coming out press release is more likely than a new song release

That mysterious trip to Colombia gave Axl a lot of energy, wonder what went down...

Axl if you're reading this, we don't want a new album at all. Keep giving us the hits that we know and love, your voice sounds amazing.

Some people joke that the only songs added will be new covers but honestly that would be better than what we got last leg which was fking nothing, one of the most depressing legs of the whole never-ending tour.

Wonder if angry Mickey will show up

1. ISE
2. Mr B
3. CD
4. Bad Obsesson
5. Down on the Farm
6. You Ain't the First
7. Attitude-Duff
8. The Seeker
9. You're Crazy (but only the parts where he sings in his low voice, when the part with high notes starts the song just ends)
10. Wichita Lineman
11. ISE (again because Axl sounds good here)
12. Patience
12. SCOM (Melissa on lead vocals cause Axl just can't do this justice and it has to be played)
13. The Seeker (again, just to piss people off)
14. Estranged
15. PC (but Kanye or Pusha T come to rap the verses cause Axl can't do them justice)

For those wondering yes I'm the guy who said the unusual setlist yada yada three times.
-Amazing show, shits all over the Tokyo and Paris ones. The quality is amazing
-Early UYI tour simply feels different
-Axl is way more motivated and talkative that in the 92 and 93 shows
-Amazing frontman without even trying and you can see the whole band is enjoying the show.
-So cool that we have a pro-shot of a show with PC early in the set and Jungle closing
-Axl's voice sounds fine to me, Indiana 91 and other shows of the later part of the tour before the release of the UYIs is where he went ridiculously far with the rasp and sounds like a black metal singer.

Wasn't that just a thing that sort of crept in as people used to stay stuff along those lines every time?
Anyway.....
Cool that they're releasing Ritz 91 since it's not only a great show but has a very unusual setlist with Mr Brownstone not being the second song, PC being early in the set and Jungle being the closer.
BTW seeing how he sings fast-paced tunes like Shadow & Reckless Life pretty decently nowadays imo (angry Mickey I call it) I think Axl could do a decent job if they played Perfect Crime now. The angry Mickey sounds better than the normal Mickey

My stupid computer wouldn't let me post that comment so I tried like 3 times and then I gave up, come back here and it was posted 4 damn times and becomes a meme.
At least I made my thoughts very clear, next time I don't want a comment be ignored I'll post it like 5 times, it is cool that they're releasing Ritz 91.

Us GNR fans expecting a new album are like that dog Hachiko waiting for his owner at the train station but nobody will make a statue out of us

My guess is that Mickey will come back when Axl rests his voice, but he definitely should keep it at minimun and just for songs that can't be played in a low register and can't be retired like Jungle or SCOM. Sing Civil War, Estranged, YCBM, NR, KOHD, etc fully in the low register.
"The General" is officially delayed... but "The General" AND "Monsters" is (unofficially) out of the bag
