The records shipping from Ferndale Michigan makes me wonder if they were pressed at the Third Man Records pressing plant downtown Detroit. If so, I should go there and see if they're pressing anything else from GN'R.

Man I really hope so!! Every record I have from Third man sounds excellent. This is too much getting the EP early and having it pressed at a decent plant. Almost too much to believe LOL!!

Bought the 7" and I'll be a downloading motherfucker for the other tracks

I didn't want to buy because it was a crazy price for a 7" but I'm a vinyl addict and knew if I didn't buy it for this crazy price the after market would be even worse so I pulled the trigger. And yes I as well will be a downloading motherfucker for the other tracks lol!

That would be nice, but...it's the same fucking songs over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again!!

I agree 100% as much as I love those tunes I'm starting to get tired of hearing them. I'd love something new even though I know it won't be as good as the 90's output I'd still take anything.

  4. Truthfully I think I'm finally coming to terms with the fact that GNR has missed the "New Music" window. What I mean is there creative peak behind them. I want new music from the Axl/Slash of the 90's. It's too bad they couldn't have kept it together better back then. I'm sure we'll get new music but I'm confident it won't have that GNR fire they had when they owned the world. What we'll end up getting is a diet GNR record it may quench the thirst but it won't taste the same.

This truly stupid band and it’s people need to understand my story. I was a pretty big Howard Stern fan for years. Even followed him to Sirius and gave him my money. The show was pretty good, for some time. But after Artie was banished, and Robin got cancer, and Howard did America’s Got Talent, I was out. My Sirius tuner went dead in my car, and I never even bothered to get it replaced. He’s still on the satellite, but I haven’t listened in years. His show is a joke to me now.

Guns is headed there with me. Sure they can release music and I look forward to leaks, but I won’t give a shit too much longer. I refuse to buy tix anymore - went out well on 11/29/17, and that’s it for me. If they do release an album of material and tour it I’ll only go if Axl sounds good... 2010 good, not 2016 standards. And I know that’s not going to happen.

The stupid band thinks there’s time. Axl’s shitty voice and bizarre appearance isn’t a big seller anymore. Reading the manager’s latest jerk around is comical. Pretty much for a decade, GNR, thanks for nothing.

I’m 100% with you on this. I use to love Star Wars but now after Disney has ruined it and trashed the fan base in the process.  I have zero interest now and I would’ve never thought that would happen. Same thing with Guns I use to really love the band but now there’s too mush frustration and hardly no reward. I’m tired of being jerked around. Realizing now it was the teenage nostalgia in me. For me Appetite was released in junior high and UYI in high school. Awesome Times! But it’s 2020 now and I’m 44 ffs! What the fuck am I doing this hope for new music with slash has been a 20 year dick tease. My balls are blue and the boner for Guns is about gone LoL!

I am willing to bet anyone any amount of money a new album DROPS in 2020.  Just like the rumors of slash and duff built up for 6 months and it came to fruition.

Slash, Duff, Axl, and TB have all alluded to it.  Why would they not ?  Stop comparing current Axl to the guy 15-20 years ago. The guy who started riots and came to stage 2 hours late , and delayed an album by 10 years is long gone.  Obviously people get older and realize they're mistakes.   At some point it becomes about money instead of just keeping it Real.  The current GNR universe employ lots of people and all have gotten fat in the last 3 years.  Do you really think this machine is gonna stop anytime soon ?  It's mostly about the money.  They know an album dropping will continue the touring cycle for 5 more years with breaks in between.  They all have said at some point an album is coming.  How would Slash and Duff explain it next year if there was no album ? They actually care about saying things and it happening.  We know Axl doesn't, but those 2 guys don't just throw things like that out there.

Mark this time and date, An album is dropping in 2020, not sure it will be great music, but it will top the charts that first week.  If you think anything else, you have zero intuition and keep referencing ChiDem period Axl.  All of the pressure has built to this point, everyone in their world knows it.

    Bet me ..

1000x this!! Thanks man you saved me some typing I think you're spot on!

I bought the latest Magpie Salute album (High Water II) yesterday.

Swing and a miss.....not very good overall :/

I'm right with you. I Loved High Water I but this new one seems a bit bland. I will say I do like a couple tunes on it though.
