Jesus, they really don't get the issue is not the art style or even that it involves AI, its that the AI they used is CANCER alpha gen quality. Like if they released the song unmixed and unmastered, it's not the message portrayed or composition of the song, it's that it would sound like shit. In this case, the AI looks like shit.

Exactly, im not blaming this on GNR or Axl or anybody in the band. This is a management and creative team disaster, not the musical artists. I don't know, but I highly doubt Axl would be ok with it watching that back if he was aware of how easily stuff like that could be generated with zero effort. I'm honestly glad we are getting any releases on youtube anyways, and not through a subscription service. Imagine having to buy that music video on GNRFlix and seeing that shit

I guess I should have put it this way, they could have had the same style and anime/cartoon theme they had, just with less artifacts and fucked up proportions.

The issue I have is not the fact it is AI, but the fact that it is a primitive and very bad AI model. For example, with a quick google search in the past 5 minutes, choosing a FREE AI SITE I have generated an image with "Slash playing Guitar over a Crocodile in the dark night sky inside a swamp" It has body proportions that actually make fucking sense, much better and clearer objects, no conjoined limbs, notice the only problem with the body is the fingers, it is a character who is clearly Slash and not a defualt anime Ai person, and this is SO MUCH BETTER than whatever 2021 AI they used. The fact they didnt even use the $30 AI it is even better than this here, is just sad.
