  1. It was Ezrin, yeah, but he came in when they had already worked with RTB for a few months, so it was the RTB versions that he heard.

  3. But I don't think he was forced to quit - I don't think he even quit. He supposedly was replaced temporarily by Duff and returned for the last Vegas residency shows in 2014. Then there were no more shows, and then the reunion happened.
  4. I guess it depends on whether the tour had already been booked or not. Because if it was booked there were contracts probably with stipulations about postponements that wouldn't be due to a health issue, so there could be lawsuits.
  5. He didn't say anything about GN'R. Slash plays on one of the songs on Duff's new album and Duff said that he wrote that song in 1996. I thought that was interesting.

  7. That's a choice (although a bad one), not laziness.
  8. He said in one of the recent interviews (paraphrasing) that he hasn't talked to Axl, but he's on good terms with the camp. I think he must be still in touch with Fortus, at least. If social media are any indication, he's the only NuGnR member Beta and Dizzy still follow on Instagram (Beta has liked some of his posts, too). He doesn't follow anyone from GN'R though.
  9. If he isn't physically able to sing Jungle in the way it's supposed to be sung, there isn't much he could do in terms of adopting. If he sang it in his lower voice the response from casual fans would still be negative, although less so (at least there wouldn't be all these videos mocking his "mickey" voice).
  10. I thought Axl sounded along the lines of his 2023 average. No more no less. The main problem is that although he sounds decent to good on a considerable part of the set (mostly thanks to the setlist changes this year), he's very weak on the most popular songs. And when casual fans look for a video to check how he sounds, they will look for Welcome to the Jungle and SCOM, not Bad Obsession or Wichita Lineman. Also Better shouldn't have been back in the set. It was kind of passable in San Diego, but it's been a disaster again in the last couple of shows.
  11. He told a fan that he wished he could take it back or that he would try to take it back (it wasn't on a interview). That was two or three years ago. But meanwhile he took it back, as it seems, since he registered it on ASCAP along with another one of his demos from the locker leaks, "10%er".
  12. Some good suggestions for questions already. You could also ask him if he intends to release Going Down (or any other track he wrote during his time in GN'R) at some point, since he has registered it on ASCAP as his own song. (You don't need to mention the ASCAP thing - probably better not).
  13. For Power Trip, yes. But there wasn't such issue at Aftershock Festival (this show) and there was still a 35 minute delay. It's this show people bitched about on the festival's social media.
  14. Full show is on youtube (great quality). * (Credit for the pictures: Danny Garcia, Andy Dorado and Delphine G. Carnes)
  15. I don't know where this rumour came from. I have yet to see evidence (screenshot, article etc) of Fortus saying that.
  16. Yeah, Sacramento was yesterday, not this one. I saw you posted about your buddy in the Sacramento show thread, too, that's why I asked.
  17. It doesn't seem that there was a stage turnover issue for this one, because from what I saw there were four different stages and the band that played before GN'R on the same stage (Rancid) had finished their set around 6:30 pm. GN'R were scheduled to start at 7:25 and they took the stage at 8:00. Unlike with Maiden at Power Trip, Rancid doesn't have a fancy stage setup, so an hour should have sufficed for GN'R to set things up. There are many negative comments about GN'R on the festival's facebook page - actually there are only negative comments. GN'R's delay has been blown out of proportion (they're saying that all the other bands were on time, and GN'R were over an hour late sopeople left because they were tired of waiting etc.). People talking shit on social media about whatever is nothing new and there's the GN'R past record bias. But I also think that delays are felt more at festivals, because people have been there for hours and are already exhausted when at the time of the headliner's set.
  18. Did he go to this concert or the one in Sacramento?
