  1. Wow...so I now have Coma and Out Ta Get Me in pro-shot from my first ever Guns N’ Roses show. That was really great. I’m content.
  2. Houston 2016 was my first ever Guns N' Roses show, so it's very near and dear to my heart. Not afraid to admit I'm very excited to finally see some of it in pro-shot.
  3. Basically this. In other words, it’s not Guns N’ Roses doing, and I doubt they even know about it.
  4. Do you know what the footage was? I’d be curious to know.
  5. Yes. He registered for it in October 2014 and it was abandoned in July 2015. IIRC, nothing came of it though.
  6. Yeah, I came across the trademarks this morning. These three different "classes" (descriptions) that @Blackstar posted are assigned to both "Axl" and "Axl Rose" (so, I guess 6 separate trademarks in total)? I know the value of trademarks and why companies do them, but I'm not sure why Axl himself would. Guns N' Roses, as its own band/brand makes sense obviously, but I don't really understand why an individual within the band would do it for themselves. I love Axl, but the idea of Axl Rose branded clothing is really weird to me, lol.
  7. Great read! I really enjoy both TSI and Live Era. I have to say though, it's pretty funny how there was no mention of the fact that much of Live Era was re-recorded, lol.
  8. Not only that, but posting that pic of Slash confirms Axl has a pic of Slash saved in his phone. 2020 really is something else.
  9. I don’t care what anyone says, this will never get old to me. Happy Birthday Slash!
  10. I haven't seen any other sources for this, but it looks like we're getting a Chris Cornell cover of Patience tomorrow morning.
  11. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but it’s a fair assumption to make that the album isn’t finished based on this interview with Slash. With that being said - didn’t Fernando say we’d see the new album “within 6 months” (March), and then said it was halted due to the virus? If Slash is still writing and recording demos this far in the game, I highly doubt anything other than maybe a single release of Hardschool would’ve been ready for a March release, virus or no virus.
  12. I went ahead and listened to it. This is what he said: "I've been jamming with Duff, and I've been jamming with Axl, and I've been doing stuff like that; so we've been getting some work done that way. I'm basically just focusing on writing new music, recording demos and recording guitar stuff for Guns."
  13. Well, the tweet from last week was tweeted at 3pm EST on the dot. That was also when the YouTube video was added. It’s now 15 minutes past and no word so far, so who knows.
  14. Beggars can't be choosers. For reference, the last time official footage of the band was uploaded to their YouTube channel was in June 2014; clips from Vegas residency. That is a LONG time. This was their first run doing this; it honestly could've been worse (granted, it could have been better, but that's a given). It's a step, albeit a small one, in the right direction.
  15. Awesome! I don’t know what they mean by “moments” but I’ll reserve judgment until I actually see what this is all about. All I can really say is: it’s about damn time.
  16. In regards to the playlist thing: It isn’t just us on the boards with the “complaints, complaints, complaints” anymore. This is not some underground secret that only the hardcores know about and have to deal with. Sure, maybe it was for awhile, but at this point, the level of incompetence has reached a fever pitch, that even the most casual fans have noticed. It’s honestly embarrassing.
  17. There’s no way this was anything but intentional. I have to give them credit; I was indeed trolled. Thanks again, Team Brazil! Can’t wait for the next one!
  18. For one single second, I couldn’t believe my eyes, and thought I was about to click a link that led to videos from the show that night. ...they played me yet again.
  19. It’s from the show in Rosario, Argentina from 2016. Edit: I believe his shirt is actually red in this one.
  20. Not sure what he means by "and/or photos." We can take "or" out of the equation because no one was asking for more black and white photos. Lol.
  21. It's a start. I have to be honest - I'm surprised he even took it upon himself to provide this update for us. It really is the little things. As for what the content itself will be, well...we'll see.
  22. Incredibly surreal to see Axl Rose, Appetite For Destruction, and even Chinese Democracy all trending worldwide at the same time right now. Funny thing though - from the tweets I’m seeing, a lot of people aren’t aware that the Chinese Democracy trend is actually referring to the GN’R album and not some political bullshit, lol. Still, as a diehard GN’R fan, I have to admit it’s pretty cool to see Axl in the mainstream again.
  23. Which I think everybody here would agree is just fine - just not under the massive GN'R brand.
  24. Even looking through the lens of a non-hardcore fan (as I try to be as unbiased as possible), this is still baffling. I'm thinking to myself, "Isn't Guns N' Roses a band? Bands make and release music. It's been awhile since they've released any. It's a bit weird to go out and release a children's book before that." That aside, the timing of such announcement is inconsiderate. All people want to know about is where their money is amid this pandemic. Not to turn this into the COVID thread, but if there's any announcement that needs to be made, it's relating to that.
  25. Titled "Sweet Child O' Mine" and to be released this September. No, this is not a joke. Quotes from James Patterson (the author) and Fernando himself both in the link below. https://people.com/parents/guns-n-roses-childrens-book-sweet-child-o-mine-exclusive/ Updated with the tweet from the official account promoting the book:
